After talking to dentists in my family (my uncle is practicing and my brother-in-law will be soon), we determined that Deborah Tabb is simply trying to bill both the patient and insurance for as much as possible. In addition, she is smart enough to avoid damaging her ZocDoc rating. Her technique was to cancel the appointment I booked for her through the ZocDoc, and then affirm the appointment when I called in.

The facility itself is outdated and unwelcoming, which only added to the negative experience. The only positive part of this visit was the nursing staff. The nurse assisting me was incredibly kind, professional, and even apologized on his behalf, which says a lot. She did her best to make me feel comfortable despite his behavior.
