From the beginning, she repeatedly insisted they were not warts, despite my concerns and prior experience with them. During my second appointment, I also mentioned new bumps on my lips that I believed were warts. Rebecca dismissed them as normal lip bumps or possible cold sores, even after I explained I had never experienced them before. A biopsy was eventually performed, which confirmed that the bumps were in fact warts. Unfortunately, after the diagnosis was confirmed, I still felt that my treatment plan was inadequate and that my concerns were not being taken seriously. I also felt there was a lack of experience and knowledge regarding proper wart treatment and medication management. Because of this experience, I decided to transfer my care to another dermatologist. As a patient, it was concerning to feel unheard and uncertain about the guidance I was receiving, and I would not recommend Rebecca based on my experience.

Realized the day of appointment confused my appointment time with be early time, called 1 hour ahead to say would be 10 min late. Was within that timeframe, but made to sit for 45 min. Thought okay, doctor will still see me. When nurse came to get me was handed a note stating you were late we will try to see you but can't promise to address everything. During appointment felt rushed, superficial, and when asked about minor skin issue was told heck no, you need cosmetic surgeon for something I had frozen off before since childhood. This doctor has an elitist manner that does not belong anywhere around treating people. Do not see her and do not use Sutter Health which employs her. The reviews here reflect how she treats patients with no respect. Since I write this review, I expect Sutter bot will make some statement asking me to complete a survey. Well I have worked within Sutter before where a complaint will be brought up during a meeting and never be thought of again since no one died. Separately - please shop around for dermatologist. Be very straight in asking for a treatment plan, in writing, and making doctor accountable for treatments that go nowhere. Take control of your health and your body will thank you for it!
