We decided to share a couple of subs, The Sunny-Lea ("turkey, stuffing, cranberries, cheese") and The 1830 ("AAA wood-fired beef, caramelized onions, and caremelized onion cheese"). They were ready a few minutes later, so we took our food out to an available bench and began eating. These are some seriously terrific subs. I started with the 1830 and it pretty much blew me away right from the first bite. The super tender (and plentiful) meat is enhanced by the other components, and honestly I'd be happy eating that sandwich every day for the rest of my life. The Sunny-Lea fares just as well and really does taste like Thanksgiving in sandwich form. Really, really phenomenal. I wish that Farmer's Daughter Sub Shoppe weren't so far away, but at least now I have a reliable stop to make any time I head out in that direction.

Basically, The Yellow Deli is owned by members of the Twelve Tribe cult. This cult wants to get 144,000 male virgins to sacrifice in the year 2070. (Apparently) they also target blondes with blonde hair and light eyes for recruitment. Additionally, they believe that "black people are the servants of the white." After learning this, a lot of their actions started to make sense. I noticed specifically the females sizing me (blonde, white, female, green eyes, 18yrs old) up and being much more likely to talk to me than my roommate (black, female, 18 yrs old). There were wooden crates in front of the display empty except for the top one which had the same rotten beans in it. I saw what I thought was an employee from the produce section and I said "your beans are rotten." His reply was " a lot of them in there are".
