I made my appointment online the day before and I received a phone call about 30 minutes later from the owner Janice who requested that I complete some preliminary paperwork and then email the paperwork back to her. APPOINTMENT PROCESS -- My appointment for one fingerprint card went well. It cost about $65. The whole process took approximately an hour and 45 minutes (which was long) because she did a practice fingerprint card for both my hands. While we did chat for a bit, we were chatting while I was being fingerprinted so the amount of time that I was there was still very long. After the practice session, I did my actual fingerprints on both my hands. She held my fingers as I pressed down unto the fingerprint card but sometimes she held my fingers too tight and it hurt me but I did speak out so it was fine in the end. The website mentions that the appointment for 1 fingerprint card should only take an hour (and in my opinion, it can actually be less than hour but everyone does things differently. I forgot that I actually needed 2 fingerprint cards so I came back 2 or 3 hours later to get another fingerprint card done. The 2nd time around, I was only there for about 35 minutes so this means that doing the full 10-finger practice fingerprint card takes time. For the future, I suggest to the owner to just do a practice run on about 2-3 fingers instead of all 10 fingers because otherwise, the client (me in this case) will be waiting for a long time to finish the appointment. Janice prides herself in being very precise in her work and while I haven't gotten the results back from my fingerprint yet (meaning - whether my prints were accepted or rejected), I'm sure the company I submitted them to will accept my prints. She works very thoroughly. EDIT -- My fingerprinting results came back and they were approved. I recommend Cleveland Fingerprinting for all your fingerprinting needs. She said she would "allow" me to change it this time, but she doesn't normally allow it. She then sent me an email saying, "Due to your inability to keep your scheduled appointment. I will issue a one-time-only raincheck (WHICH WAS FALSE). So, please choose your next appointment day and time wisely. As a reminder, there are no refunds if you decide to not receive Cleveland Fingerprinting services." I went online to change the appointment and it said the date/time I wanted was unavailable. The was the one down side to my experience here. I had a 10:30 appointment. I arrived a few minutes early, and there were three or so people ahead of me waiting to check in. When someone came to check us in, they did ask who had an appointment and two of the three of us did, so they checked us in before the person without an appointment. They were busy, so I was taken back about ten minutes after my scheduled appointment. As long as you come with the appropriate documentation for your requested service, the fingerprinting is digital and fairly quick. They don't send or receive any results at this location (and, unfortunately, can't answer questions on status if you have them). Your results are mailed and emailed after your appointment. They told me it could take up to a month, but mine were sent in about a week. You can also schedule an appointment for TSA precheck requirements here, but I don't have personal experience with that service.

In fact, they are technically two different addresses with two different doors, but when you go inside it is all one shared space. Second, when you go inside there is no one at the reception desk. You just go in with hardly any direction and kind of figure out what to do. The whole time I was here, I didn't see anyone approach that reception desk and was worried that I wasn't going to be seen. Somehow, by miracle of miracles, someone did come and get me. What is odd is that everything you answered online, you will have to answer again here. Like every single question. Instead of all that information transferring in and being able to make this a quicker visit. The employees can be a bit terse, so I think Nancy can sit down for a minute.
