They literally went above and beyond to get me fitted, make new retainers and get them delivered to me. I was extremely satisfied and so happy to get new retainers. That said, the biggest issue is availability. It feels like the focus is more on bringing patients in than actually accommodating them once they're clients. There's very little flexibility with scheduling, and getting an appointment after school (3-5 PM) is nearly impossible. Missing school regularly just isn't a realistic option for most families. If they could improve access and scheduling flexibility, this would be a much stronger experience overall.

I had booked the appointment for a tech to make a new mold to replace my broken retainer. Unexpectedly, Dr Curtis cheerfully involved himself in the process and offered two completely different approaches to my retainer. I began treatment with the expectation of receiving competent, attentive, and professional orthodontic care. Unfortunately what I received instead was a consistent pattern of poor service, lack of accountability, and a practice that prioritizes VOLUME over patient well-being. I experienced so many issues with my Invisalign treatment. Multiple scans were done improperly significantly delaying my progress. Those errors were largely the result of an inattentive and poorly trained staff. One particularly disappointing incident involved dental glue being cured on my skin an avoidable mistake that should never occur in a professional clinical setting. Zero accountability was taken. I will say at one point there was a single staff member who stood out for her professionalism and care and she made a noticeable difference for me during her time there. She's the only reason I decided not to transfer care but she eventually left the practice which only emphasizes the ongoing issues with staff turnover. My appointments have been marked by disorganization and long wait times far beyond the scheduled appointment time. It's very much an assembly-line approach to patient care. The office always feels overcrowded and very rushed with little regard for individual attention. Rescheduling appointments was unnecessarily difficult and rigid. I was consistently met with inflexibility from the administrative side of the practice. Patient convenience is never a consideration. I also experienced significant billing issues. Automatic payments continued to be withdrawn from my account. It took multiple contacts with the office to resolve the issue and receive reimbursement. Dr. Johnson's demeanor shifted to one that felt increasingly indifferent and dismissive once I stopped responding to his insincere superficial interactions. It became clear that a genuine rapport and patient connection were not priorities for him. He didn't care about my case. My experience with Dr. Bret Johnson's practice was consistently substandard. Every single part of it. From clinical care to customer service. Every facet of my treatment fell short of reasonable expectations. I'm seriously disappointed. Orthodontic treatment is an investment of both time and financial resources and I expected a provider who is competent. I assumed that's what I was paying for. I will say, I was told we never checked in to the 3rd appointment, but after waiting in line for ten minutes (it was very busy and the people ahead of us were not prepared. We were also fifteen minutes early because we have quite the drive and I don't like being late) spoke to a receptionist we had worked with at another location as well and she assured us we would be seen shortly, so on my end I did what I needed to do. Once back in the exam area we typically wait another 10-15 minutes. They seem to really struggle being ready to go and again all three times things were missing and they had to go looking for the supplies needed to complete the process.... Now it might be a bad time where they have a lot of new staff, but 3/3 tells me this is a systemic problem not an individual training issue. And the only staff we encountered more than once was the receptionist. We went to three different offices for our appointments so not a particular office either. Overall their staff are friendly, they just don't seem super confident or prepared.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and Dr. Weigand is kind, personable, and great at what he does. I have a wonderful experience every time I go in. Dr. Weigand uses state of the art equipment to identify problems early, and fix them quickly. He frequently utilizes lasers in his practice. Obviously it is at the doctors discretion when it is used so no promises on having this technology used on you, but for shallow cavities the doctor was able to use a laser device to remove and fill the cavities without having to numb me. It was awesome! Instead of being in there for an hour and not being able to eat for the next few hours, I was in and out in about 25 minutes and had nothing preventing normal eating or drinking. There was a cold sensation associated with the use of the device but there wasn't any pain. I'm sure the experience can differ from person to person and cavity to cavity, but it was amazing technology. While he is a bit on the pricey side, if you have good dental insurance I would highly suggest seeing Dr. Weigand. The time and care that is taken to ensure your mouth is in good health won't leave you disappointed.
