I can't say enough about the staff and Dr. Curtis! They were wonderful from my first initial contact and continue to be even though my braces are now off. They are "on the ball" with every little detail, they know your name when walking in, they always make sure you are comfortable and taken care of and both of their facilities are immaculately clean! He spends the time to make sure things are perfect, not just good or okay. They answer all questions and address concerns immediately, always call you or email you back promptly and even jump through hoops to accommodate my crazy, ever changing schedule. He spends time and energy being a productive member in our local community and is always continuing his education, which is something that I look for in any professional. So I'm just all around impressed with my experience. Not to mention my teeth are beautiful now and I'm really happy with my results. Unfortunately I learned the hard way as this was my second time around with braces because of not wearing retainers when I was young. I could tell an entertaining story, but I'll get to the point why we selected Doctor Curtis for both of our children's braces: 1) (Most important): The approach. Unlike some of the other orthos we compared, no teeth were extracted from either child. My son's teeth were as bad as you can imagine and other orthos wanted to pull at least two of his teeth. Doctor Curtis assured us that no extractions were necessary and my son completed his treatment with a WONDERFUL smile. 2) The care. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We never had an issue being seen quickly, even when we needed an unexpected visit. Everyone answered our questions and took good care of us throughout the treatment. 3) The cost. When I walked into his CdA office and heard about how the treatment plan is supported (e.g. shuttles from the local schools, etc.), I thought his service would be cost-prohibitive; I could not have been more wrong. Doctor Curtis was about actually less than the other orthos that I shopped. He also offered a "pay in full" discount that I appreciated as a self-employed person without ortho insurance. read more

I am so pleased with how I was treated at Curtis Orthodontics! I live nearly three hours from their office but it was well worth the drive. They were very flexible and gracious, knowing my distance. I found out half way in 2012 that i needed braces. So i got them at the end of October , I had my braces on for a year an half {21 months}. I took good care of my braces and I have good hygiene. My braces made a huge difference . I love my nice white straight teeth smile. When I went in Curtis orthodontics for my adjustments , I was always happy with the assistants doing good work on my braces. The assistants are hard working and ready to work ! Dr. Curtis is hard working and he is always positive, he always has a smile on his face. I wear my retainers every night because I don't want my teeth to move and I want them straight for the rest of my life. I am pleased with my straight teeth. I have been treated at Curtis Orthodontics in Coeur d' Alene, ID for a little over a year. I am 50 years old and had braces as a teen. I didn't follow through with my retainers the first time and ended up needing some readjustment. Dr Curtis is amazing. My daughters teeth were so overlapped and her bite was pushed forward. Dr Cutis was highly recommended to us by our Pediatric dentist and my friends. Always loved Curtis! The appointments were so fun with an amazing staff. The shuttle was extremely helpful to get to appointment because I would've had no other way.
