I was going for a fall forest vibe and the secret garden met that and more. We got the Day of Coordinator package and it was so worth it. Literally the best to not have to have our "Boo Crew" clean up after. Plus there is so much more to that package. Also you can rent linens and decor from the venue. As far as the contract and communication, Shanna and Roland were perfectly clear on payment dates and vendors (security, insurance, alcohol policies) that would be needed. I read the contract, signed, paid and got married. Truly had no issues. I planned the whole wedding myself so I was able to stay on top of getting vendors on time and paying early! Very smooth event. 10/10 would get married here again. Probably gonna renew our vows here tbh! Will not disappoint!

Although the venue is relatively nice, our overall experience was poor and the staff were not helpful at all. Where to start... They asked us to have all of the beverages and alcohol there at 12 so the bartenders can prep and get set up. They didn't show up until 4 so all the beer was hot and we were there unnecessarily early. I also had several complaints the bartender was rude and they shutdown the bar without a last call or warning. The pool we were supposed to be able to use was full of algae. Nope! The chairs were set up for 250 people, we needed 140 and there was no aisle to separate the grooms and brides guests. When we requested the change, we were told we would have to do it and put the chairs back at the end of the night or be charged $1000. No soap in the bride's bathroom, flowers were dead at the pavilion, and be prepared to bring everything... If its not a table or chair you better have it because they don't. On a day like that, the devil is in the details and the details were lacking. Could have been a much better experience.

After working…read moreon the wedding industry for 21 years I have never run into a venue who has attendants barging into the bridal sweet to rush everyone! We had 9 people to style full hair and makeup for a 5:30 ready time yet they wouldn't allow us into the venue until 1pm.... Even if we rushed that is an impossible task and left everyone in the room panicking and rushing. The joy of the big day was ruined by their poor and unprofessional timing for this wedding party. Set up should have been at least halfway don't the night before and whoever needed to sleep in should have been up and letting us all in that morning. I've needed venues open by 6-8am many times and they make it work. They don't book the party, set impossible timing goals and not allow the party to be in until mid afternoon! They didn't even allow time for touchups. I hope I never have to work this venue again unless they start thinking about their guests and make their expectations more reasonable to my sweet brides can be relaxed, comfortable and happy.
