This was the best burger I've had outside of the US. Juicy, flavorful. We all had burgers and a couple of sides of fries for which Belgium is known. Prices were moderate and quality was good. The bacon was delicious and was more like a ham than a cured thick piece of bacon in America. The. buns were amazing

This place was meh. Apparently there was an issue with their grill and no one bothered to tell us - hence the reason for the loooong wait for our burgers. The manager came out later and told us, after my sister inquired. We got a free bottle of water for our wait. That was nice. The burgers were OK. The poutine wasn't good at all. Don't even bother getting that. We also tried s couple of the cocktails and they were just OK as well. Cute outside seating area though. Kids like the onion rings.

On a trip to Bruges with my wife and an old friend and her boyfriend, we happened to grab a burger here due to the fact they have vegan options. The wife's friend is vegan and so, other than Lebanese, Greek, or Thai, which I'm not too giddy to try in, well Bruges, we settled on a burger. They had a few vegan options, including the Holy Shiitake, which is entirely comprised of mushrooms, and some vegetarian options. While the wife got a classic burger, and I got a vegetarian option, a Green Way burger, which is a Belgian made plant-based burger, and the wife's friend got the shiitake burger. My burger was served with a "lime mayo," that didn't really taste much like lime, but was still okay. They also had a vegan mayo. The wife and I also got Sweet Potato Fries. They were fine. All in all this place was just okay. Nothing to write home about. My Green Way burger could have been cooked a touch more and as I mentioned the lime mayo was just meh. It was also inconvenient that they couldn't split the bill for us at the end. Don't think I'd ever would have eaten here if we hadn't been with vegan guests. Wouldn't go back on our own.

Got the classic and the Ellis. Burgers were thick & juicy. The buns were pillowy soft. Overall the burgers were delicious and satisfying.

Terrible. Service was horrible. Very rude. Will never come back to this place. Shame though, because the food was very good.

I tasted a veggie burger. Was good but not the best I ever tried. Good combination of flavours. About the service, was friendly and fast.

I tried one of their waffles with Nutella and strawberries and also tried a cappuccino here. The waffle was prepared fresh with the batter that was pre sectioned. For clarification, there are two types of "Belgian waffles" including the Liege waffle and the Brussels waffle. The ones here were more similar to the Liege variety, which is a bit gooier (not crunchy), less fluffly/more dense, and slightly sweet in the batter itself. I thought these waffles were quite accurate knowing that and while it isn't something I particularly crave, it did satisfy the curiosity to try a Belgian waffle. The cappuccino was a tad weak with the espresso but otherwise what you would expect and could be sweetened on your own. The spot was quick to prepare the items and was indeed a hole in the wall place with a small seating area. Good stop for a quick grab-n-go stop without crazy lines. In general, I find food to be subpar in tourist towns like this where there are limited options, minimal competition, and generally good traffic. This is slightly removed from market square and the center of all the attractions which had the advantage of quick turnaround and little wait times but I felt for the foods we ordered, they'd likely be similar everywhere.

The gap was filled by the European equivalent Quick Burger. This is not a name I was familiar with so let me introduce you . Quick burger is located in Market Square in the centre of Bruges. You can eat inside or out if the weather is good. Its location overlooks the whole of the square so you get a great view of Bruges busy life whilst admiring the architecture of The Belfry and Provinciaal Hof at the opposite end of the square. Food is typical of the type of McDonalds although I found the service to be quite slow. One thing I particulary found good about this place was the lack of salt on the fries. I like salt but I never add it to food and I find it quite annoying if you order fries and they come laced with salt. However, if you want salt on your fries it is available seperately. Language is not a problem here and I was fascinated by the young girl who served me as she spoke to me in perfect English and whilst I was waiting took another order in French whilst talking to her colleagues in Flemish. This is a very popular and busy Restaurant and if you have picky kids who don't like anything unusual you should find this place a hit. Video link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VG9kBTgYZvo

There seemed to be a few people hanging around for burgers and someone was waiting for a pancake apparently. My Allumettes Burger took a good 5 minutes to come (darn specials). Mind you, it was a really delicious burger. The matchstick shaped crisps in it somehow worked to my happy surprise. In the end I was glad that I waited instead of grabbing a ready made Giant. On the market square so can get unbearably busy at peak times.
