I was referred to Ellis Law by my workers compensation attorney. I am so glad he did so. My accident involved me getting stuck in an elevator between floors after the elevator dropped abruptly. About 18 months ago I was involved in an automobile accident where there was a dispute over the red light. The Ellis Law team of investigators went out to the scene of the accident and pulled the film from the local store which showed the exterior of the store and the area where the light was located. This film proved that I went through the light on a green light and that the other driver had been lying the whole time and ran the red light. My experience with Ellis Law is a horrible one.They don't communicate with their clients.They don't return your calls,or emails, and when you do get them on the phone they give you the runaround.I have been waiting for my settlement check for two weeks with no clear indication of when they will send my check.If they were upfront with me I wouldn't be writing this review.They got paid on my pain and suffering, you think they would have the decency to reach out to me, and send me my portion of the settlement.I regret doing business with them, and I would never,ever again do business with them.I don't know how they treat other customers,but me they treated like a POS.Instead of them fighting for you, you have to fight them to get your settlement.Isabel doesn't return your calls, and Karla just tell you lies when you talk to her on the phone.All I want is for Ellis Law to send me my settlement without any drama.If I could have communicated in a different forum other than this way I would have done so.At this point I am just frustrated with Ellis Law. read more

I would suggest running from this law firm especially if you have lost a loved one and need actual assistance. I was ignored for 4 months with no reply to either phone calls or emails because Mr. Ellis had personal business to attend to out of state. The employees will not even know what your case is about. I was getting packages to fill out for an injury case when my husband had been killed. The most important part of my case, the main concern I had, was washed over with a flimsy explanation. After a year and a half they still did not have my correct address and my final papers came with misspellings etc. Mr. Ellis found nothing wrong with this unprofessional and insulting practice. I could go on and on but bottom line is he cost me more money than he acquired for me with lots of nonsense charges. I could have done it myself with the insurance company with less frustration and better personal results. I hired him because he promised to take care of everything so me and my kids could grieve but it was far worse having to be stressed all the time wondering if he was doing anything at all except waiting for what he knew was a guaranteed insurance payout. Hiring this firm was the worst decision I have ever made. It was a nightmare. This happened quite some time ago and am finally able to speak about it. This is an amazing law firm. About two years ago I got into an accident with my girlfriend. My injuries were neck and back and they found me a doctor right away. I retained mr Ellis as my attorney after I was hit on a bicycle by a truck in Los Angeles. During this time I was struck 2 more times by a car and a truck which was a hit and run.
