There's also a huge, public parking lot on site which is free to use. I emailed the Little Red Store to see if the space was available for use during my desired date and I could not have been connected with a kinder person. The Little Red Store staff member or maybe it was a volunteer - was prompt, helpful and would run down answers to questions I had if they didn't know the answer off the top of their head. The reservation process was straightforward and we got confirmation very fast. Leading up to the event, the staff answered any questions I had via email quickly. We decided on the room set about one week before the event date and then I was connected directly with the volunteer who was going to open up the space for us day of. We arrived about 15 minutes before our scheduled rental time and were able to get into the space and start setting up then which was hugely helpful because we only rented the space for three hours (that included time for set up and clean up). A few rules we had to follow- no flames inside the store so we used battery operated candles for the cake. We couldn't tape or tack anything to the walls. We brought a portable clothes rack that we decorated and used as a backdrop. We also had to take all garbage with us after the event. I want to stress the fact that this space is small. They allow a capacity of about 27 people which is what we had attend. I would recommend this venue if you had 20 or less guests otherwise you'll be a bit crammed. And if you're having a lot of kids attend (we didn't) it might not be the best venue for you as it's a historical site. A quick note on included amenities - there's a bathroom inside. Tables and chairs are included in your rental. We also brought a little folding table for gifts. The kitchenette is a great, compact size. There is no stove/oven or coffee machine/maker. There is a fridge and a small counter space for any dish prep you might have to do. There' also a sink. Overall we're so happy with this space and how well it worked for our daughter's 2nd birthday. It was affordable. Our guests enjoyed the location and uniqueness of the venue, and everyone we worked with at the Little Red Store was pleasant and accommodating. So glad they allow the public to rent this space!

The pizza is great. I love a cracker thin crust and it's perfect here. Additionally, a healthy bit of sauce compliments all the other toppings well. Check out the time of day they have live music. The organists are super talented and add that great Milwaukee flare to the experience.

It doesn't seem they've made any updates over the years. We came on a Saturday night with a big group of people (a handful of families/kids), and boy was this place packed! Our group just added to the chaos, but needless to say the community loves this spot! The big ol' organ at the forefront is a fun feature, and everyone was loving the music. They also have a good size arcade that keeps the kids very happy. I was a fan of the ordering system here too- you go up to the counter/bar on their own accord and submit what you'd like, and then they give you a ticket with your order number. Up on the wall is a giant light up sign and you simply look out for when your number is lit up and that means your food is up. Given that pizza is the thing here, that's what we went for. Everyone was pleased with it! I can see the appeal here, but I can also see the pov of folks who aren't the biggest fans. It's a certain kind of place, and with kids, it was a good time!

WOW! What a cool…read morepark area. Plenty of parking. Free. There is a nice easy paved trail, and if you are lucky enough, you may come across a deer eating some leaves. There is a pond or stream, there are flowers, birds, and all kinds of sights and nature to enjoy. If that is not your thing there are baseball fields, tennis / pickle ball courts, basketball courts, etc. Definitely a great place for some peace and quiet / solitude, or a date, or a family gathering. I can't believe how lucky we were to come across the deer and of course I did not have my camera with me because the rain was coming, so I only got some cell phone pics and video. The area around the park is nice too, so green and woodsy. If you are in the area, and want a nice park to try out then you should give it a chance.

As you can probably gather, it's a massive green space, with lots to enjoy! Great for families as they playground is very quality. There are paths/trails that wind around the pond and wooded areas. You'll find plenty of tennis courts (I still come to watch my dad play all the time), as well as baseball diamonds, a frisbee golf course, volleyball nets, and some hills in back that make great for sledding in the winter. The swimming pool is massive (open June-August), and offers both lessons and fun theme-nights. Truly something for everyone at this park! Not to mention, it is extremely well-kept. I love coming back here and can't wait to bring my son once it warms up outside.
