If you missed those dates, they have two dates in the fall Oct 3-4. We parked by the old Wonderverse/L.L. Bean building. That will lead you directly to the Blue Bottle Coffee, from there you can explore all of the individual white tents. The tents range from drinks/snacks to different crafts. We spent an hour in total. I took some pictures but it's worth checking out if you like supporting small businesses.

I went last year a few times and once this year. Overall it's a medium sized market with a decent variety. You'll find produce, sweets, juice stand, crepes, honey, soaps. There was a home repair stand (windows, siding, etc) I appreciate that they offered kids balloons when advertising. Another bonus is it's right downtown by the train station. You can get breakfast or lunch in the area or go to boutiques. Plenty of things to walk around and do. This time my son and I got the tropical juice (ginger, carrot, pineapple, kale) from "Gandi the juice guru."It was delicious! We've also had delicious nuts from "nuts to go" who always offers tons of samples! The lemon hummus from "Just hummus" is so tasty and fresh. The walnut chocolate chip cookie from "This Miss Bakes" was packed with flavor, super soft too.

Just the idea of the array of fresh veggies and fruits makes me tingly and excited and my hairs stand up on my arms!! Anyway, this farmer's market is pretty small, but that had a fantastic variety of veggies. Everything was fresh and hard, not soft and ready to rot. They also have several vendors there, like a gourmet popcorn stand and a bakery. WAIT did I tell you that I also am a HUGE HUGE sucker for fresh baked bread!! HA, so I bought a loaf of freshly made bread which tasted fantastic for sandwiches. I used to live in VP - now out of state -- but when I come into town, I often stop to get bakery to take while visiting my family. The selection, quality, and prices can not be beat. I buy strudels, coffee cakes, donuts, pecan rolls - which are my favorites, cookies and sweet rolls and made to order Italian cannoli - which they fill before you pick them up. I so very much miss my home bakery, and I am longing for a pecan roll. Hopefully, I will get some in May when I visit.
