There's also a restaurant right next door which you can walk to and if you tell them you're staying at best western, you get a 10% discount. And of course the staff is very friendly :)

The rooms are adequate in size, with a mini kitchenette that has a fridge, microwave and kettle/Keurig. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast buffet in the morning will cater to most appetites and tastes. As mentioned, the pool is great, being a decent enough size that you can get a proper swim in if so desired, as well as the water slide. The slide is a fair length, even going outside the hotel before curving back in. My son absolutely loved it. Although they provide breakfast, there's no restaurant in the hotel. However, there is a Boston Pizza and Irish Pub within the same parking lot, which provide decent food and a 10% discount if you show your room key. If we ever go back to Drumheller, I will definitely stay here again.

But they had it set up like a little oasis which made it inviting for grandparents to sit on the side lines and watch. The breakfast was pretty decent and very well done covid style. There was a trainee who checked us in and didn't update any credit card information, got our rooms mixed up and it was a huge to do. if I hadn't noticed I would've been paying for all my families room. He was nice but clearly wasn't prepared check ins and could use some more training

It was quiet too, couldn't hear anyone upstairs or in another room while in mine. The waterslide and pool/hot tub area was really nice. The pool was warm. The slide was super fun and awesome. For the waffles they had powdered sugar, syrup, sprinkles, strawberries, and whipped cream! Tea, coffee, juices, no water though. The free wifi was great and easy to use. The staff are super nice, friendly, and helpful. I would totally stay here again, it's probably my favorite hotel overall I've been to on my cross country road trip.

The breakfast was delicious with lots of options, and the rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable. While the cleanliness in a few spots could be improved and it'd be nice to have a lifeguard at the pool someday, those were minor things that didn't take away from the overall experience. Would definitely stay here again!

Amenities such as TV, showers, and beds are top notch. The front desk staff were likewise kind and efficient. Stay included a typical breakfast option for similar hotels. Still, the facilities and quality is well worth it. I will return when my travel warrants it.

After a brutal motorcycle ride across the Rockies in terrible weather, I stopped over at this hotel…read morebecause I was too tired to travel any further. At 10 p.m., I discovered bedbugs crawling inside my pillow. I called the manager, who found even more bedbugs but insisted the hotel had "never" had this problem before and I must have brought them with me. She did switch my room, but when I called Alberta Health Services, they told me it was impossible for me to have brought them with me and that having them moving around visibly in the bedding indicates a severe infestation. The next morning, another guest told me his room was "crawling" with bedbugs, but the manager told me she checked his room and there was nothing there. Obviously, the hotel has a huge problem that they are trying to hide. The impact on me has been horrendous. I have just put all my motorcycle gear and my hard bags in the trash, at a total cost of around $3500 (for my Shoei Qwest helmet, my Rev It Horizon 2 jacket and pants, my Kawasaki hard bags and liners, my Klim Solstice 3 base layer, my Klim Sundance mid layer, my Dainese rain gear, my Alpinestars Stella Gran Torino boots, my Held gloves, etc. etc. By the time I buy a new phone and Kobo (which have to be "isolated" for 6 months to eliminate the bedbugs--obviously not a practical solution), I'll be out close to $5000. Needless to say, I can't afford to replace all this gear (which I've slowly accumulated over the course of several years). I'm a serious rider, and my heart is totally broken. Do NOT stay here, people! The place is totally infested, and the hotel is NOT dealing with the problem.

The woman I first spoke with at the front desk let me know that a few other members of my group had already arrived and overall check-in was a quick, easy process. The best part about staying in major chains like the Ramada is that there is always consistency in the kind of room you expect to get. This was no exception. Imagine a generic hotel room and you're probably pretty close. Everything was clean and tidy. There were a couple nice features such as in-suite coffee and a mini fridge. The next morning I ate the continental breakfast which had quite a few vegetarian options, mostly just bread options but beggars can't be choosers! Afterward I made my way to the conference room for my meeting. The room itself was quite large for our small group. The coffee and tea were piping hot but the room itself was not. We had some issues with the heat. At first it was very cold but then after turning the heat up a couple degrees, it was way too warm.\ Overall I was very happy with my stay in Olds. I will definitely consider the Ramada next time I need to spend the night here.
