Mr TV Mount - Running the wires behind the wall.

I scheduled an appointment and was understanding when they needed to reschedule due to a flat tire,…read moreand again after they were involved in an accident. However, communication became very difficult after that. Calls often went to a full voicemail box, and I was unable to confirm a time for a rescheduled Sunday appointment. I made several attempts to follow up, but did not receive a response. Unfortunately, I had to move on to another provider due to the lack of communication and reliability.

They were flexible with me possibly having to re-schedule my appointment at the last minute if the cable equipment had not arrived on time. The installation team arrived at the time promised. They were polite, clean and professional. They used shoe covers, which I appreciated. I bought my own bracket and they were very familiar with it. They even uncrated my 85" TV from my move, which required them unscrewing wooden boards -- much more work than simply opening a cardboard box. Then they measured precisely, putting guide tape on the wall that they removed without leaving any marks. They also cut a hole on the wall behind the TV to run the power cord behind the wall to the outlet near the floor. The work was professionally done and looked great. They ran all the cables along the bracket, which was important because the bracket and wall would be visible when I pulled the TV out and swiveled it to seen from the kitchen, dining room or the living room. The whole process took under an hour and they didn't seem to cut any corners. The estimate was not the least expensive I received, but I felt the thoughtful questions they asked before I even accepted their quote, indicated the attention to detail that I wanted -- and I was right. I can't say if all their teams work this well, but the one that came to my house was exceptional.

I had an excellent experience with this electrician and highly recommend him…read more Out of all the contractors I've worked with, he was by far the most detailed and considerate. He took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly, which gave me a lot of confidence in the work being done. I also compared estimates from multiple companies, and his pricing was very reasonable--especially considering the quality of work and level of service he provides. On top of that, he was extremely clean, organized, and efficient throughout the entire process. It's rare to find someone who combines professionalism, transparency, and craftsmanship this well. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again for future projects.

After getting over a half dozen estimates for having an EV charger installed, I went with Cee for…read morethe install. I received quotes from a lot of the top Yelp reviewed electricians and man, even the top rated guys will try and upsell and overcharge. I chose a charger capable of load managing the output during charging, so you won't necessarily be using all 48amps at a time depending on your house's current draw. That allows you to avoid costly panel upgrades. Even after explaining this to all the other electricians who I got quotes from, most of them still tried to upsell. I got one quote for $13,000 to install my EV charger from a well rated 5 star Yelp electrical company. Cee understood right away and was experienced with the Emporia charger. He worked with me on everything I needed, showed up on time and did the job quickly and cleanly. He dealt with the permits and inspection as well. I consider myself pretty handy and do quite a bit of DIY, I trust Cee and his honesty in the work he did and what he charged. That's tough to find in tradesmen and what makes him so valuable. I will be looking to Cee for any more electrical projects I have moving forward. Thanks again Cee!!!

Philip's Design - Custom cut-to-length Curtain Rods and drapes close to ceiling. Customer wanted them just barely touching the floor.

Responded very quickly and offered to come the same day, on a Saturday, no less, so we appreciated…read morethat. We needed curtains hung. I had started the job myself but got an anchor screw stuck and figured I should have a pro step in so I didn't wreck my new walls. All the supplies were here, placed where they needed to be, holes were measured and marked for custom made rods and drapes. He charges by the hour and moves very, very slow. He didn't have his own step ladder or anchor screws. In the first hour, he managed to put in 3 screws in holes that had already been marked. He claimed he "needed to remeasure" and that's why it took so long, but he used the holes that I had already marked. He also said it was too hard to do with custom cut rods. He also said it wasn't his fault because I had an anchor screw stuck in the wall already, which was the whole reason I hired him. This is what pros do: they come prepared, know the required materials and techniques, and advise the customer on the best way to proceed. I knew we needed to cut it off when he asked me how to use an anchor screw. He didn't know if you needed to pre-drill or not for a very basic and common anchor. I cannot imagine a professional handyman not knowing that. He used a level to stare at the pre-marked holes for what seemed like an eternity, just eating up time. 3 screws = $200. Seems like a nice enough man, but handyman may not be the profession for him, and that's giving him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn't just trying to take advantage of someone he assumed was too naive too know how long the job should take. He became very defensive, making excuses when I said we'd need to end the job at one hour. Im sure judging by other less than 5 star reviews here (that I really wish I'd have taken the time to read) he will post a very defensive response here as well. Please just don't take a job you don't have the required expertise to complete, and I don't want to hear defensive excuses when I'm still out $200 for almost no work completed.

The services/projects I had done were: - Fans installed in the bathrooms - I appreciated that this company operated so honestly. I was provided the link to the fan that would need to be ordered and advised to purchased. The company could have purchased the fan themselves and overcharge me, but they did not :) - Recess lights installed all over my home - The company even provided us with the option for a dimmer light switch! Each light was installed quickly and I have had zero issues. I was even asked if I was happy with the shade of light, amazing service! - Outlet installed into my kitchen island - Again, no issues and quick installation. - Car Charger installed outside - The charger was drilled into the brick outside my home. It has worked with no issues for months. If I ever need any electrical services/projects done then I will be calling Armelcom again. I would highly recommend this company and I can definitely see why this company has so many positive reviews :)
