He was very thorough about telling me about his diagnoses and explaining what he was going to do/did. When he completed the work, he cleaned up the debris that had fallen when he repaired my circuit breaker box. His attention to detail and cleaning up after himself are signs of elite contractors. I scheduled an EV charger installation with this company after receiving what seemed like a fair quote--both with and without a permit. We agreed on a date about two weeks out, which was their earliest availability. The day before the appointment, they called to cancel and reschedule--pushing it another two weeks out. Then, the day before the rescheduled appointment, they informed me of an additional 25% charge for a GFCI breaker. This part costs about $50 and takes no additional time to install compared to a standard breaker. What I find most frustrating is this: why are service providers charging rates comparable to surgeons, yet failing to accurately quote based on basic code requirements? If you're truly a professional in this field, shouldn't you be able to generate an accurate quote up front? Either they didn't know the code (which is concerning) or they knowingly excluded necessary components to make the quote seem lower. This was a disappointing experience marked by poor planning, lack of transparency, and questionable pricing practices. I would not recommend them. Wasted much of my valuable time. read more

I was researching for a good personal/family owned small business to troubleshoot wiring issues at my house. The bigger companies quote so much more for their profit margins. I wasn't down to pay extra for that. However I wanted the job done properly and professionally. There were a few things I looked for: certifications, insurance, good ratings and really small business. Electrisource was exactly it! After using a power tool in my garage while the oven was on, some circuits in my house went out. I couldn't find the source of the issue. I asked for a quote giving them the problem description and they gave me a flat rate to fix the problem and not quote me based on hours spent fixing the problem like all other companies. I don't get why other companies don't do it this way. Give us a quote to fix the problem - not arbitrary hours and rates! Anyway, my problem was fixed and I'm quite happy learning everything that went down. I even asked for another quote to replace my old breaker box that has no more space left. Instead of having to take time off of work to have them come to my house, they did a face time call to assess the work(this was a massive help!). Recommended! They were running a little late (rush hour snow squall - understandable) so they actually rerouted a different tech to me to get started sooner. The other tech was actually only 10 or 15 minutes behind. They had a very fair troubleshooting fee which would go towards the repair. They brought 2 overhead LED fixtures with them in case they couldn't fix the existing ones I was having trouble with. In the end, they were able to identify the problem and fix it without needing the new fixtures. So the troubleshooting fee was all it cost and they were done in less than 45 minutes. read more

They removed a hideous light fixture, installed 3 new recessed lights, installed 2 new pendant lights over the island, and replaced 6 existing recessed lights with new matching LED ones.
