He then painted with Spray paint, which never looked good but I didn't want to be difficult. Within 2 months the screws and the joints are rusting. I texted to ask what to do and he said to use spray paint. Which obviously won't work. I said his job is failing in 60 days, he should come to fix it, and he stopped responding. I'll note this wasn't a cheap job either. I paid $1100 for a 6' and a 4' long railing. Disappointed.

The day before, I got a text to confirm if we were still "on" for today. We were scheduled for 9am Saturday. At 8:30am, I received a text telling me that they were on their way. Paul and Ramiro arrived at 9am sharp. They were wearing masks and dressed professionally. I hadn't initially been looking for or thinking about dryer vent cleaning. But since I'd never had either chimney or dryer done, it made sense to do them both. While Paul worked on the chimney, Ramiro worked on the dryer. They laid out a sheet to protect our floors and their cleaning kit kind of looked like a golf club bag. They were in and out within the hour and provided pictures of the work they had done. JD Metal roofing made a great impression from the start when the owner came out and did an estimate. He wasn't doing any song and dance, didn't promise the sky (like other roofing companies who told me of their practices which would have been in my favor but seemed borderline fraudulent) and the estimate was reasonable. I really researched the subject thoroughly and they were my top pick. I should add, it wasn't the last time we saw the owner, he also came out from time to time to check on the job. Throughout the process they were easy to stay in communication with (John Jr) and helped me with paperwork I needed for the insurance company and for the then available tax credit. They seemed to treat their crew well like human beings and I think that comes through in the quality of the details. They did the work on time, for the estimated price and were pleasant to deal with. What more can you ask for? We're pleased with our energy savings, the look and that someday we may be able to put solar panels on it. Also look forward to not havng to pay a deductible every time it hails hard. I stay in contact with them once in a while and just appreciate their being 'salt of the earth' kind of people. Looked for a carpet company and found The Barton Company close to my home. They looked at my house the next day, brought samples to the home. Great pad and carpet picked at the the house. Then the estimate was emailed on day two and we hired them. They ordered the carpet, set the date and the crew arrived exactly within the hour they estimated. Clean, neat, moved and reset heavy furniture. Did a great job on the install and took all away after cleaning up 100% after the work was done.
