I went to the appointment, was kept waiting a bit (no big deal) and once I was in the office this person (Tatyana) looked at my paperwork and started in on me with a very hard sell to get out of the market and let her manage my retirement. I said, "I just want some advice on managing my tax exposure on an annual basis". She said, "I have all of my clients out of the market" she showed me a chart of market trends since 1928 forward..."the market has risen ***% since blah blah blah. How long do you think that will go on????" You are not safe in the market, now. (Well, I've been through the 1999 crash, and fortunately was smart enough to balance my investments before the 2008 "great recession") Tatiyana's pronouncements are scare tactics to doubt what you know and your own investing knowledge and skills.
