I wish I could leave a rating of -5!…read more In April of 2022, I hired Mr. Florian Tabaku esq, an attorney at James Crawford law firm in Linthicum Heights, Maryland, to represent me in my divorce case. My experience with Mr. Tabaku and this firm was absolutely terrible! I had to schedule regular meetings with Mr. Tabaku to make sure things were being completed in the time frame he told me they would. Either Mr. Tabaku and James Crawford law firm are way too busy or there was simply a lack of interest in my case. Mr. Tabaku frequently promised to file motions, request subpoenas and other work would be completed by certain dates and would not be delivered. I would give an additional 3-day grace period and it still would not be done so I was compelled to begin scheduling weekly meetings to make sure he is doing the things he is promising he would do by the dates he promised them. These weekly meetings added up my costs. Additionally, my father, uncle, and I had to have more than 7 meetings with Mr. Tabaku and/or Zachary Groves (Partner at James Crawford Law Firm) to address Mr. Tabaku's lack of responsiveness (disappearing for weeks at a time), late motions, and other grievances. Ironically, I was billed for these meetings as well. I would not have had to request these meetings regularly if Mr. Tabaku had simply met the expectations he set. Divorce is a very stressful event as it is. For your attorney to not meet deadlines that were promised to me and with no communication only further adds to the anxiety. My grievances with this law firm include: * Intentionally setting false expectations about my case to run up my costs * An inability or unwillingness to give me a straight answer about what kind of outcome to expect in my case * Terrible responsiveness- Phone calls or emails not being returned for up to 4 weeks at a time * Numerous mistakes made on my case then lying to cover it up * Billing me for time taken to fix his mistakes * Other unethical billing practices * Disinterest and lack of any compassion during my entire case * Continual disorganization or confusion concerning my case * An inability to remember key facts about my case despite billing many hours for "review" * Lack of trust due to numerous untruths * Completely ignoring important deadlines which cost me additional legal fees * Documents or information I have been promised that never appear then billing me for follow up * Disagreement about my bottom-line goals in the case * Deviation from what we have agreed to ask for or do without an explanation * Engaging in unnecessary actions that run up attorney fees * Repeatedly doing what he wanted instead of doing what I asked * Rude and disrespectful communication * Negligence: typos and errors in multiple documents filed As it stands, I have accumulated over $50,000 in legal fees when my case did not even make it to trial. My life has been a complete hell since this order was entered and a large part of this is due to Mr. Tabaku's overpromises, miscommunication, unjust billing practices, and pure outright negligence. I was referred to Mr. Tabaku by my ex-lawyer after my ex-wife and her attorneys bankrupted me. Mr. Tabaku understood my trouble and agreed to represent me. The first time I met Mr. Tabaku, I immediately noticed his calm demeanor. He listened and was genuinely sympathetic. There was a quiet confidence about him that brought me peace. I was so use to complete chaos. My ex-attorney and my ex-wife's attorneys yelling and arguing every conversation. All the lies and ill feelings. Life was stressful! Mr. Tabaku changed all of that immediately. Mr. Tabaku took over my case shortly before my child support and child custody trial. I was a nervous wreck! Almost two years of paperwork behind my children and I. How on God's green earth was he going to know everything before trial? The day of the trial, Mr. Tabaku knew the LAW and we won our trial. Jim, was very efficient at the start of policy (Aug '25). Then, Jim was able to issue a full…read morecoverage auto policy with a reasonable rate in Maryland. It was with a subsidiary of State Farm, GainsCo auto insurance. Never heard of the company. However, fast forward, when hitting a snag via the online payment portal, it didn't recognize the policy # being inputted in the system. GainsCo customer service may as well be non-existence. All modifications must be completed by the initial insurance representative who began the policy. Due to GainsCo archaic system & poor instructions by customer service, the payment ended-up being late. Maryland insurance compliance do not play. They'll charge approximately $200 for insurance non-compliancy in the state. I was advised by GainsCo agent, prior to making payment, the deadline will be 11/11/25. Insurance canceled on 11/10/25. Jim, the State Farm (GainsCo) agent didn't mitigate circumstances, to waive late fee or reinstatement process. They simply penalized me for not being aware of how to use the archaic online system. If online account numbers isn't entered correctly, it will not populate account payment information. Who knew? This was the first & will be the last payment to experience such awful customer services. When advising Jim of the dissatisfaction received by GainsCo, Jim simply agree with shopping market for another policy, elsewhere. Hence reasons for not completing a google review when starting the policy. Whatever happen to good (not even great) customer & product services. The real satisfaction arrives in the duration of contract (policy). It's difficult to refer anyone to companies who provides convoluted policyholder interactions. Prior to payment, it was requested to sign a "loss of property" form, indicating no damages was done to vehicle due to cancellation. I've paid the late fee, reinstated the policy & presently searching for a more reputable insurance agent & firm. This is not It!!

Be very careful with State Farm. I use this location and the agents from this office. I canceled my…read moreinsurance on April 17 the day before I'm supposed to be charged for the next month. They charged me anyways the full amount for my insurance for the following month even though I had canceled and they had sent me a confirmation email. I called and inquired about it and they passed along my information to someone else. They said their office does not handle the reimbursements a refund blah blah blah here we are in June and I still have not seen the money that they charge me for a month that I did not have coverage with them. I have not received any reimbursements in the mail and the woman that they connected me with has never returned my emails or any sort of Information about where my money is. They will be very nice to your face and very nice on a phone call but State Farm are sharks and you need to be very careful. I highly recommend Erie Insurance which charges me a fourth of what I was being charged at State Farm . Make sure you shop around because most people that work at State Farm don't even have insurance through State Farm because they know they charge an arm and a leg and they would never pay those prices themselves. UPDATE: After receiving this review they got back to me. My phone calls and emails didn't do anything in regards to this matter. The language in their correspondence was disturbing, calling it an 'overpayment' not what it really was that they charged my account after I had already cancelled my account with them- they knew for a week that I was discontinuing my coverage with them. A check was sent to me- took weeks to get to me. And they shorted me. Citing 'it looks like your insurance rate was not properly quoted so this is the correct amount owed.' So you made a mistake and I pay for it? Please be careful if you choose to go with this company.
