My initial review was a one star…read more I called and spoke with Tabitha about getting my septic system pumped. They scheduled me for January 8th. The employee they sent out pumped my system and told me that another employee would need to come out and do a diagnostic appointment. He also pulled out all the floats from the last tank. He put those floats back in the tank unattached to anything so all float to the top of the effluent. He also warned that I would only have around thirty days to use my system. I did not understand at the time the float system and his time frame. I spoke with Tabitha about scheduling this diagnostic appointment. She stated they wouldn't have time until the 30th. I explained I would need another afternoon appointment as I work during the day. She said that would be no problem. I received a phone call and voicemail from Tabitha on January 29th at 2pm stating her tech was is my driveway waiting with all the replacement parts. This was odd as I was told it was a diagnostic appointment. I received a second voicemail on January 30th at 3 pm, stating they wouldn't have time not be able to come out until late the next week. I have since done research into my As Built. Klein Septic knew the problem and exacerbated it by removing the floats from the pvc pipe. They then contacted the county health department stating my pump is non operational on January 14th. It's been so long now I will need to have my system pumped again just to fix the floats and see what other problems were created by Klein's initial visit. I will also need to work with the county to get this bogus report removed from my property. At this point I feel Klein is dragging their feet to enhance profit by needing to pump the system to undo the floats from damage and charge for any extra services and products as much as possible. UPDATE!!! Five stars!!! Ken from Klein came out immediately and rectified the entire situation. Fixed the floats, explained my entire septic system and what had occurred. He said the report to county would be changed as well. Just a super knowledgeable person! Answered all of our questions and had a very positive attitude. Fabulous fabulous fabulous

Super fast service. The other outfit told me I had to contact a septic designer to get the job done. They also told me I needed a new drainfield!! Ripoff. Klein fixed the problem (a broken pipe) in an hour. The charge was very reasonable. I'll have them come out and clean my laterals in the coming months. These guys are GREAT! You can't go wrong.

I called to schedule a pumping and inspection for my septic for my house that was being sold. The lady I spoke to scheduled us for both services for the second week of January. She even sent a text confirming the type of appointment and date. Fast forward, I called the day prior to our appointment to find out the time they would arrive and she somehow said she was under the impression we didn't need a pumping. I told her that is not the case and that I told her what was needed when we scheduled the appointment. Instead of her apologizing for her error, she proceeded to tell me what the buyers of my house want. Stating they don't need to be there for the pumping just the inspection. This is not the case. Working in real estate, I don't need real estate advice from a scheduling lady at a septic company. She tried to say they will schedule the inspection and pumping on different days. I told her that doesn't work as we are closing on the house very soon. We chose to go with a different company mostly because of her response and no apology for her scheduling error. Even when I called back to cancel the appointment, she continued to try to be combative about her error. Everyone makes mistakes and a simple apology and possibly moving appointments around to accommodate us would have gone a long way. Attached is the confirmation text she sent.

Through both the inspection estimate and work done, Brian, the Envirotek tech, always had a smile on his face and a positive, can-do attitude. He was consistently helpful and friendly as he answered all of my many, many (new to having a septic tank) questions, and was happy to answer more, if needed. Having already approved the estimate, we were prepared to pay that amount, if not more. To our surprise, the invoice we received was one-third of the estimate, which I can only attribute to their efficiency and honesty. At the time, he said he had a small truck, which he did, and that he would have to make two trips. I knew that meant it would cost more, but, I thought I could help out a new guy. Then it all changed: I called after he'd built his new store to repeat one of those minor tasks, and he tried to charge me $300 for a job he'd done before for $25. Then I noticed he bought new trucks, both of them small. So, the small truck excuse is just a scam to charge unknowing or kind people twice what it should cost to pump out. Not only will this guy over charge for anything he might offer to do, it will be far in excess of what the competitors will charge, and you'll only get mediocre results. Stay away from Envirotek
