There really was not much of a decision based on our history with Blaine. We were not disappointed. Remodeling a kitchen is much different than remodeling a bathroom - many more moving parts and design decisions. The kitchen remodel highlighted the best trait about Blaine. You can discuss design alternatives throughout the process. He listens and provides the pros and cons. He will go out of this way to ensure you are happy with the result. The name Fine Line Constructions speaks for itself. Blaine's attention to detail is amazing. He will spot imperfections and fix them before you even notice the problem. And on those rare occasions when you are not 100 percent pleased with the result, Blaine will address the issue without question. I am not sure what our next remodeling project will be, but when hiring a General Contractor our first choice will be Fine Line Construction.

Over the past year and a half they've masterfully completed several jobs for us, and we have them on the books for several more. They have dug out and installed french drains with sump pumps as well as repaired and painted walls, ceilings, and brickwork. All of these things were done expertly. But the most significant work they've done was to create, from the ground up, an addition to our house. We call it an addition, a sunroom, our new "hang out all day" room. A 14x16 vaulted ceiling with support beam masterpiece, the casement windows are all handmade with the finest craftsmanship and care. They spent hours, days and weeks measuring, sanding, staining, painting, glueing, nailing, and appraising. Perfection was the goal and it was accomplished over and over again. We were especially appreciative of the creativity and thoughtfulness with design and vision: Blaine especially was adept at providing the many options involved in all aspects of the job to choose from - such as tile material and color to stain shades - and then, when asked, gave his highly informed and relevant ideas and opinions. And when supplier issues and delays occurred as they always seem to these days they were undeterred and never rushed nor took shortcuts. They were always punctual, courteous, and up front with all details and accounting. Our cost overages were insignificant. We couldn't be happier with them and their work, and the end result was well beyond what we expected.

We first spoke to Darren in December 2024 and shared with him our dream and our Sad sketched out plans. Darren took our dreams, answered our questions and made helpful suggestions and presented as with an amazing plan. When we told him we weren't ready, he did not pushy nor did he bombard with follow up contact. We let him know when we would like him to reach out again and he waited until that date. We met with him four other times to go over the budget and our plans. When we let him know that cost was an issue he helped us sort through ways to make our dream house a possibility closer to our budget. Sadly, in the state of our economy, we had to push our plans to build. Once again they understood and asked when he We wanted him to contact us again. Again, he was not pushy, yet understanding even though we are not currently building when we do we will be calling Darren being able to be respected and understood. Makes the building process less stressful. My husband and I completed our first build in 2020 and did not have a pleasant experience. We were fearful moving forward and working with Darren allowed us to get excited about our next build.

I saw a review of Rick's Custom Cabinetry on Facebook and contacted Rick. I had a picture of a Restoration Hardware vanity that I loved and they were able to provide a quote over the phone. After putting down the initial deposit, both Larry and Rick came to meet with me and go over specific details, drawer samples, dimensions, and the even worked with my contractor and plumber to a sure that the pipes would be able to fit with the specific drawer layout, which saved a lot of headaches down the road and shows how detail oriented they are. The vanity was finished right on time and it couldn't be more beautiful. The drawers/doors all have soft close hinges which worked perfectly. It was a breeze to install, and the quality is far beyond anything that I could've found a big box store or online. He said if we wanted to push the job back a week, we would have to "wait 2 years to get them done." The painters missed an entire lower panel, and They also got paint all over our windows. When they came back to fix the lower panel that they had missed, jeff did such a sloppy job that he got paint all over our floors that won't come off and now we have to get the boards replaced. I reached out to them about this and they didn't even care to respond. They have our money now so just left us with the damage. Unprofessional and sloppy job.

I used Pro Refinish last summer when I purchased my condo and had my kitchen redone. I did lots of…read moreresearch as I wasn't sure if I needed refacing or refinishing but after emailing with Joe we decided refacing would be the best approach. Joe came out twice to take measurements. Once for my original request and a second time when I asked him to build custom cabinets around my washer/dryer which is also in my kitchen. The job was to be done in one day and a nice gentleman came out and covered all my brand new appliances before he started the job. He was there from about 9am-8pm and he cleaned after he was done. I was to have the custom cabinets for the washer/dryer done the same day but found on the day of the job that it wouldn't be done until the following day. I had so much going on with moving and leaving out of town for a death in the family this threw me off. Joe and another gentleman came the next day to finish. They did leave dust in my freshly cleaned kitchen but the cabinets are beautiful! It's been 8 months since the work was done and I am still very happy with the quality and the price was very competitive.
