Extremely unprofessional and unpredictable also they lie about their hours of operation why say your open just to be closed that's just dumb

I did a lot of research on a good tattoo shop and Elysium Ink Body Art came in at the top of my list. After checking out their work, two of the artist that came in at the top of my list were Zay and Connor. I called and spoke with Hannah who told me to come in so we could go over what I wanted and where I wanted my tattoo. Zay just happened to be at the shop when I came in, and after a detailed conversation with him he seemed to be the perfect choice for my design. All of the photos I saw of Zay's work were clean and very detailed, so I locked him in as the artist to revitalize an old tattoo that needed resurrecting. Zay and I communicated back and forth until we had the perfect design (which myself and a friend created). He went to work etching my design and soon the transformation began. Zay is very knowledgeable and extremely talented, he did a great job with my tattoo. I made an appointment via email and they were very easy to communicate with. I show up for my tattoo appointment, everything was ready to go and I got a nice tattoo. Very clean facility and everyone was great to chat with while under the needle. Make sure to bring cash and check their website/Facebook as they often have specials. I was able to make an appointment for a military discount day which was pretty awesome. read more

i got my belly button pierced here and i loved it at first and the lady was really sweet. i was excited to have it done until i realized she didn't even pierce my belly button, she pierced the skin above it but it lays over so i looks like she pierced it and the skin has gotta smaller because of the horrible placement and she even marked it and asked if i liked it and i did and didn't pierce it in that place lol, i am going to another place to get it re done but if you are looking for somewhere to get your belly button done it's not a good idea to get it done here. read more

Walked in on a Friday night for 3 ear piercings and Hannah was great! Super friendly.

I had my nostril pierced twice with Mandie about a week ago and she was fabulous. I'd previously had a nose piercing so I knew what to expect but she was so gentle I barely felt it. My 3rd time here, and 3rd great experience. My first time here was a couple years ago and I honestly cannot remember who tattooed me. But I came back this Tuesday and was tattooed by Brittany and I am obsessed by how great of a tattoo artist she is! I've gone through her work, plus she has such a charming personality. Marcus and Taylor did such a great job. I got a small tattoo on my foot that hurt SO MUCH but Taylor did a wonderful job. She was very fast and pretty light handed. Marcus did a custom Phoenix on my husband's arm (his first tattoo) and was so much fun to hang out with! He was very conversational and also very talented. Both pieces look great. I went to get a piercing and there was only one piercer on buy one get one free piercing day. Waited for an hour before finally deciding to go ahead and leave. Piercer paused between piercing to look at a person's tattoo that was taking place. Was told that there was one person in front of us and then she would take a walk outside break, then she went out to smoke with the person ahead of me then when she came back and was asked how long it would take, she said there were two people in front of me instead of the one she previously said. read more

I went in to get a tattoo with my mom and was super excited. Based on their google reviews, I decided to give this shop a chance. Marcus was the tattoo artist who was going to do our work. Initially, he was nice and seemed to know what he was doing. But upon looking at his work via Instagram (in which he gave me while there), I wasn't impressed. The lines, writing, pretty much everything about his work was not something I wanted on my skin. My mom felt the same way. The last thing I wanted to do was offend, but I POLITELY explained to him that I didn't want to go forward with getting our tattoos. At that point, he got very rude and super offended. Making a scene in his own shop, which I didn't think he would want that kind of attention. As I was being quiet while trying to communicate with him. I think his ego was hurt and it wasn't the only time someone had said that, considering an appointment just canceled on him. They probably saw what we saw. Being a makeup artist myself, I would never conduct business that way if someone didn't like my work. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PROFESSIONALISM ! The reviews are misleading considering most reviews were based on the piercers. Do yourself a favor, and go somewhere else! You won't regret it! read more
