I've never leaned on his pedicure chair to get up and he did this in an open space where others heard him. I will never be disrespected where I pay money so don't comvceyuus here!

But my pedicure has come short, I ask for a deluxe pedicure with gel polish. Her work is very messy, first off she ask if I need to cut down I said yes please, instead of using a nail clipper she use the nipper (which is for the cuticles) to cut my nails, which OK but then she filed my toes nail with a file she pull out from her apron instead of using a new file in the pedicure package. Next she started cutting my cuticles which she not really cutting because she was yanking my cuticles which it hurt and she started cutting the side of my toe nails which I don't understand why she did that because I do not have ingrown at all. But now she cut all the corners and side of my toes, which I left in pain because again she was yanking it out. Scrubbing the bottom of my feet she barely put any effort pressure to scrub my still rough. I'm not expecting to be baby but smoot than what I come in with. But no is not. Now is massage, I thought I would get some decent massage with a deluxe pedicure, but massage was no longer then 2 mins she literally just slap some lotion/oil on and that it. Lastly the polish l, it is very messy got on my cuticles and the polish wasn't smooth. The lady told me I shouldn't get White because my toes were short, well I told her I never have that problem before. I left with uneven and painful toes. I will definitely not come back or recommend. I did paid $60 plus 20% tips The price is fair but the the treatment I get for what I paid doesn't match up.

At times, the attitudes can feel a bit harsh, but the owners are very sweet and professional. Just keep in mind that they do not take walk-ins close to closing, even for simple services, so it's best to plan ahead. Overall, it's a good nail salon in the area, and I love that they offer drinks like wine, soda, or water during your service.

I went in with my 5-year-old daughter, three teenage sisters, and my stepmom to celebrate my birthday with manicures and pedicures. I called ahead to book the appointment, and Mimi was fantastic in organizing everything to ensure we were all set. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by how clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed the salon was. The staff wore matching uniforms, the towels were embroidered with the business name, choice of vitamin-infused salt bath for your pedicure, and there was even a mini bar set up for special events. We were given choices of water, tea, coffee, juice, wine or champagne (I ordered a mimosa of course!). It was clear they take great pride in their space and service. However, there were some issues that affected our experience. My daughter's manicure and pedicure started to disintegrate after just two days, which was disappointing. I took her back to have it redone, and while the staff was accommodating, it was still a hassle. My shellac manicure, which I've had done many times without issue, also started lifting and chipping after just one week, which was unusual for me since I'm used to it lasting 3-4 weeks with no problems. What really added to the frustration was the delay in my stepmom's service. She had trouble with her technician, who wasn't familiar with shellac, and after everyone else was finished, we had to wait for someone else to redo hers. This pushed us over an hour late for our birthday lunch in Uptown and set off a domino effect, causing us to be late for the rest of our planned events. The service was great, the salon's cleanliness and atmosphere were top-notch, and the staff was friendly and professional despite these setbacks. I'm willing to give Alo Nail Salon another shot as it may have just been an off day, especially knowing I've had shellac manicures last for weeks in the past and not to assume 2 hours would be enough for a mani/pedi. I'd recommend it with a bit more caution and extra communication next time--especially if you have a hard stop for time-sensitive plans.

I called to make an appointment, but before I made the appointment, I asked how much was a pedicure. The lady told me the different prices for the pedicure and I told her I wanted to have the standard basic $35 pedicure. She did not say to take my polish off. My toes was going to be $10 more. When I got ready to leave, she told me to take the polish off was $10 more. I told her you told me it was $35. She said it's on the menu to take the polish off is $10. There is no menu posted. She went behind the counter and picked up a menu that looks like something you go to a restaurant to get and she opened it up and pointed to the $10. I told her you did not tell me that it was gonna be $10 to take the polish off. I would not recommend this nail salon due to the fact that they are not honest in communicating their prices prior to services being rendered. This is the second time that I have visited this place and was not given an accurate price. I will not be visiting again.
