I heard of poor jobs he had done in the past and fulfilled guarantees. On the first day of the job, Freni wanted to deviate from the quote and change the job. After some arguing he agree to do what we agreed on. After all of that I gave his crew more attention than normal. I later found out his "skilled" crew was on another job and I got the d team. I had to correct his crew at very turn. They were unable to do simple turns in the wall. Freni had his skilled guy come out on a Saturday. That wall was quickly done by him as I watch the other crew failed to complete anything. That Saturday they left is a huff. The job was unfinished so a few days later we called Freni with no return call back. After several calls went unanswered I called from a different phone. Freni answered on the first ring. Freni then told me he will be giving about 10% of my money back but still owned his money and not doing the job. Freni went on a twenty minute rant about my job. He was rude and refused to speak with my wife. Now having a lot of money in his pocket, weighing my lawsuit opinions, and an unfinished job. I quickly changed Freni mind by reminding him about all the money left on the table for him. I also reminded him of the surveillance camera that recorded very conversation and screw up. Again his crew came out and was promised one more day of work. Three days later the job was finished. The work was average to good but was it because I caught all of their mistakes or because of their skill. I don't know. Tips for Freni 1.) Don't use him, over priced and his is a juvenile 2.) don't let the crew smoke, my planting beds are fill with cigarette butts 3.) if you must use them, set a started and end date on the contract with a penalty if its goes over time.
