The result: I needed larger 6" gutters and downspouts, priced at about $6,000 for the job. We signed the contract on the spot, in the end of January (when we weren't here) they came out to do the work, sent the bill electronically the next day, which I paid the day I received it with the work sight unseen. BIG MISTAKE!!!! A few months later we got to our vacation home and could not believe the job. Yes, the gutters and downspouts were replaced, but the drip edge (running from under the roof shingles and wrapping around the corners of the roof) looked like an opened tuna can. Worse, actually. Pictures are attached. Upon reaching out to The Gutter Guys it took about 2 weeks before the sales rep who sold me the job could come look at it. He told me what was done to get the old gutters off the house was "normal." If that's normal, I wonder what abnormal would look like. He did note some areas that needed more work and told me the crew would come back to address the other issues. And he told me that to fix the problem caused by his crew I'd have to go to a roofer. That was in May. By August they had not shown up to fix any of the issues, though I did have two other gutter companies come to look at the work and advise me on how to fix it. Both of the other gutter companies said they'd never seen a roof drip edge left in that condition and that "normal" was certainly not the word they'd use to describe it. After repeated conversations with The Gutter Guys sales rep he did say his crew should have noted the problem and that, as a minimum, I should have been sent pictures so I'd know what to expect when we returned to the home in the spring. In late August The Gutter Guys refunded roughly 10% of the job's price for the drip edge. My wife and I just got the roof replaced -- many times more expensive than the 10% refund -- to fix the problem caused by The Gutter Guys. We're now having the house painted, and just found wood rot (see picture) under one of the downspouts that were replaced by The Gutter Guys. It's not possible that their crew missed this wood rot, but, like the other problems and substandard work, I wasn't informed of this. And I wouldn't have known as the problem became worse had I not been getting my house painted. I'm willing to guarantee that the owner of The Gutter Guys wouldn't tolerate this kind of work on his own home. And I'll also guarantee none of the crew who did this to my house would have done this kind of work on their own homes. Gutter Guys are perfect for your job. Provided that you're looking for workers who will damage your home, not let you know about it, cover it up, and have to be dragged kicking and screaming to take any degree of accountability for their shoddy work. Worst company I have ever worked with. Absolutely horrible. RUN, DON'T WALK, AWAY FROM THE GUTTER GUYS.

They provided me with price quotes for different gutter sizes and guard prices so I was able to pick the option that best fit our budget. I went with a brown tinted gutter so it had to be ordered. The very next morning, as promised, a tech rang me first thing to let me know they were on the way. Aiden and his assistant not only did an excellent job cleaning my gutters, but took pictures and video of trouble spots and a soffit that had some damage. Aiden explained what was causing the problem and provided some potential solutions. They then did a fantastic job cleaning up and even cleared off my entire deck! I had to listen to one particular drip so long that it gave me nightmares. I even had a basement flood that cost me $15,000 because of the gutters being messed up. But every single person I hired insisted they were correctly cleaned and aligned and that I was asking for too much. For $150 The Gutter Guys ACTUALLY cleaned and aligned the gutters PROPERLY. They threw in new screws to hold the downspouts together and re-secured them to the exterior walls. I have been telling everyone to hire these guys. I didn't even have to be home when they did their thing. I just left a check taped to my front door.
