I love their creative flavor options and that you can sample different flavors before committing to your scoop :) The servers were really nice and fun to chat about the flavor profiles of the icecreams. The shop itself is cute yellow and spacious. Indoor seating is an option and you can also sit outside. I love these mom and pop spots & love the punch card! We took a smores pint to go and let me tell you that was the best smores icecream I have ever had. I loved that it was chocolate based & the marshmellows were soft and gooey. Such a cute homemade ice cream shop! The retail strip mall that Em's is located is great with restaurants anchoring both ends. The patio out front is a good size with 4 to 6 picnic tables. We were able to so snag one and sat outside with our dog. They don't allow dogs inside so, we each ordered separately and they let us pay together. The ladies behind the counter were helpful and friendly. We will be back! read more

Continued friendly service from staff. Most persons are local high-schoolers. Their ice cream choices change at least weekly. This time I got a shake made with Rocky Road and Spicy Chocolate with sprinkles and cherries on top. Well blended shake, no chunks. I got another punch on their rewards card. There's nothing like an extra warm spring night to foreshadow a glorious summer filled with late night stops to get ice cream. Em's holds up their end of the bargain by providing the delicious part of the equation. They had the obligatory flavors and some bespoke flavors to try out. The burnt brown sugar was delicious. I really wanted to like this place because they are within walking distance to my house. They do have some different flavors on occasion (lavender honey, bananas foster, almond joy) and the staff (college kids) are normally friendly. However, every time we go we are reminded why we should drive out of our way to go to Little Man instead. Ice cream is just not great. I'd like to start by saying I like the local, small business feel of the place and all of the staff are always great. The reason I'm only giving four stars is bc of the lack of options for people who can't eat dairy (me), and the prices. A pint of ice cream is $10. In my opinion that's way too much. Also, there are barely any vegan options and the only one they've had lately (matcha), is not great. People who can't eat dairy also enjoy delicious sweet treats. At Sweet Cow they are constantly rotating through their flavors and making them vegan. I'd really like to see this business do well and I think that's important in Colorado. read more

The ice cream is so good! The staff are always polite and helpful! We buy at least three pints a week and ration them until our next visit. The roasted banana, cherry chocolate chip, coffee toffee, vegan strawberry, apple pie, vegan chocolate coconut and vegan strawberry are AMAZING!
