Almost every week, he surprises me with his curiosity, critical thinking, and ability to retain and apply what he has learned. One of the things that stands out most is the genuine care the teachers have for the children. They take the time to build meaningful relationships with each child, creating an environment where every student feels valued, supported, and encouraged to learn. The Program Director is equally exceptional. She consistently puts the children's safety and well-being above everything else while maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere. She knows every child by name, and from what I've observed, she works diligently to ensure each classroom remains balanced and meets all state requirements. I was really worried because by the time he was 2 because he still was not talking. The owner Ms. Adrian (who I honestly think may be an angel disguised in human form because she is so kind and so caring) told me to give him a few more months as did my pediatrician. Well not only did my son start talking at 2 years 3 months, he started to academically excel. He learned his colors, shapes, mathematical concepts almost overnight and every day he seems to learn something new. His father recently got a teaching job at a local private school so we decided (given his discount) to apply for a pre-k four spot. When we met with school staff and we were told all the things he would be learning in Pre-K 4 this year, we realized that almost everything on the list he already learned at Little Darlings. When my son did his trial run of Pre-K 4 at the new school, he was accepted into the school by close of business that day. They were impressed by his behavior and intellect and we attribute much of that to Little Darlings. In addition to making sure that your children learn, the staff at Little Darlings are truly caring. The owner is one of the kindest people I have ever met and her empathy/concern trickles down to the rest of the staff. I still remember a rough morning that I did not want to drop my son off (he barely had sleep the night before but I was starting a new job and couldn't call out so I had to begrudgingly send him to school knowing that he was exhausted), the assistant director noticed the shift from my normal demeanor. She asked me if I was ok and I honestly told her "no" and she just gave me a big hug, and that hug and her care/concern helped me to get myself together and go through my day. The staff at Little Darlings has truly poured into my child and into me. I am very sad that my son is leaving but he takes with him a joy for learning that the staff at Little Darlings helped to instill. I can truly say that having him at Little Darlings was one of the best parenting decisions that we have made. I assure you that your children will be safe, loved, they will learn, and they will thrive if you enroll them into Little Darlings!
