It is located in Andrews Avenue in a tiny shopping plaza. If you drive past it you have to do a U-turn to get back on it, luckily I did not miss it. The store itself is very small. it is more of an alteration place if you ask me. I saw the alteration backroom was slightly larger than where the fabrics are displayed. They do carry fabric but not a large selection. And what I saw the most were tailoring fabrics. I also saw some home Decour fabrics and a few African prints very little apparel fabric. But it is worth checking out if you are looking for suiting fabrics. Pricewise is pretty much on point with every other store I have visited. The sales person was pleasant. The three star review is for the selection and the location it is a bit inconvenient to get to it if you miss it, and parking is a one-way which is pretty tricky as well. I have not had anything altered here so this review does not reflect their alterations skills or quality.

You can go to this link and see the shirts that were created. Post CAT 5, Hurricane Dorian, we had to get shirts made for our volunteers that were (and are) going out to deliver donated goods. We wanted to make sure the shirts distinguished our organization with others. And it did! We of course were not looking to spend a lot (as our proceeds are going to those in need) but at the same time keep with the quality of shirts. Especially with the post hurricane conditions of not being able to wash clothes as consistently as you can in 1st world amenities (think 3rd world or beyond post hurricane conditions). Nick and his team came through with our time line for both orders we had. He proved to us when we did our first order of shirts that quality did not go to the wayside with the time constraints we gave him. Both orders were done beyond our expectations. On top of that he dropped them off at the Freight Forwarder in Fort Lauderdale to have them brought over via plane for our volunteers to wear the shirts. He stayed in tight communication via text, email and phone and assisted rapidly (and very patiently) on the changes we kept throwing his way of the Donors we had to add to the back of the shirt. I called to get more information about the options and prices. I spoke to Jimmy and from what I understand, he is the owner. He explained the different options and price points. I agreed to come in Monday morning. Upon arriving to the shop I met with a young man at the desk. I explained that I spoke to Jimmy a few days before and came in to get my car windows tinted. The young man quoted me with different prices than was already given. For example with Jimmy the starting rate was $190, with this young man the starting rate was $240 an almost 30% mark up. I do not like dishonesty and I definitely don't respect any business taking advantage of people. I explained to the young man that I was quoted a different price and if he did not plan on honoring it then I needed to speak to the owner. Three calls were made to the owner and there was no answer. At this point I was ready to walk. The young man had an about face and stated he would complete the job at the price the owner quoted me at. I found this very disingenuous. I must admit he did a good job despite the initial attempting to haggle me in the beginning. When I checked in there was a $30 off Yelp discount but he reported he has never seen it before and could not process it. I wish more business respected 'word of mouth' referrals as it's the best way to get people in your door. A word of advice being honest and consistent is always the best business practice. I will be hesitant to refer here.

With that said, I need to place an order for company shirts soon and instead of using the company we usually go with, I'm going to give McKee's the order solely based on house I was treated when I really needed assistance.
