They called after eight weeks to schedule my surgery for another three week wait. Let the scheduler know need to sooner. She scheduled pre-order for Monday at 2:40, surgery on Wednesday. After their office is close on Friday, I get email changing appointment to 4:40. No phone call to see if I'm available, I'm not. Left phone call to cancel pre-op, surgery, and post-op. I am not one to write reviews but I feel like my experience warrants this. I was referred to Dr…read more Caspary by an urgent care center in Panama City for a potential abscess behind my ear. After arriving at the office and being told they had no record of the appointment, I pleaded with the receptionist to allow me to see a doctor due to the size and area of the abscess. They were able to get me in. Dr. Caspary said he thought it may be Masitioditis (which can be life-threatening) and that I would need to come back the following day for a CT Scan that would be done in office. I am currently traveling and the office was outside my insurance network so I had been paying upfront. The office said they would call me the next day and let me know the price of the CT Scan. They gave me the price of the CT Scan and scheduled the appointment. Since they mentioned it would be done in office, I had assumed they would also read it in office. When they did not read the CT and sent me home (the abscess has not gone down, there were no additional antibiotics given) I went back in and pleaded again to the receptionist that I would like to see the doctor, that I did not know what to do, and was afraid. At this point, it was suggested I consider going to the ER or make arrangements to go to the ER. Dr. Caspary did not come in the room and instead sent his medical assistant. I ran home to grab a bag for the ER, I lose hearing in my ear and it begins draining. I rush to the ER. I call Dr. Caspary's office at 4:45 to request that the CT Scan be sent to the ER knowing they will need them. The answering service says they cannot connect me to the office. I hang up. Once I arrived at the ER, they immediately took me back, started new rounds of antibiotics, run additional CT Scans, flushed the ear and made me feel safe. Dr. Caspary's office did not follow up with me until days later (after I had already called their office to schedule the follow up). During follow up with Dr. Caspary's office, I let him personally know that I felt the care I was given was less than acceptable. His response was to the effect of, "yeah, I don't know." At this point, all I want to do is make sure I am okay and leave the office. I will say Dr. Caspary did seem more concerned after this and gave me great care from this point on. After my last appointment, I spoke with the office manager who apologized for my experience. I felt that since I was self-pay and had to have the imaging redone - that I should have my money refunded for the CT scan that was done in office. She said she would get back to me and did not. This was at the end of May. I am fine now and continued about my life and had decided to just move on. Then I received a bill from a radiologist for $1200. The office never informed me that they would be sending the radiology report out - just that it would be done in office. The also never disclosed I would be charged separately for this. When I called to find out why, I was told this is normal and that there was nothing they could do. The care I was given at Dr. Caspary's office of Head & Neck Associates of Bay County was neglectful, unfair, and unacceptable. I sincerely hope no one else ever has to go through this type of experience.

No walk-ins allowed for urgent care. They don't care if you are hurting. Go find someone who actually cares about your health.

This was a very concerning experience. During our visit, we were initially placed in Room 1 for…read morebasic check-up procedures and instructed by staff to remain there until we were directed to move to another exam room to see the doctor. We were leave our belongings behind in room 1, including over $800 in cash. (The examination room was private and under the office's control, not a public waiting area or lobby.) Within minutes of being moved, when we returned, those belongings were no longer there. What made the situation worse was how the matter was handled. There was no meaningful effort to secure the area, no clear investigation, and our concerns were dismissed. One staff member was dismissive, despite another staff member who was doing our check up confirming that the belongings were seen in the room. We did not receive any follow-up or resolution after contacting by the letter and even we was call in the office regarding responsibility and Compensation for damages. all we get back was unprofessional yelling and screaming from that doctor phone call conversation because we calling for case update information. We also reported the incident to law enforcement, but without cooperation or clear evidence from the facility, the matter was not resolved. In addition, the consultation with the doctor was unprofessional. The exam room door was left open, there was no privacy, and communication was done while the doctor remained focused on a computer screen rather than direct patient interaction, which made the visit uncomfortable. Patients should be able to trust that their personal property is safe during a medical visit, especially when following staff instructions, and that they will be treated with basic professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, that level of care and accountability was not demonstrated here. Based on this really worst experience i ever have with doctor visit and never thing this going to happen with my entire family primary care doctor, I would not recommend this office.

A Disgrace to all MDs…read more This doctor Amer Malik lied to me & discriminated against me, just like his staff did. The final act this practice did to me was to lie yet again and then call my husband names. They claimed a letter from a specialist was missing key language they needed to fill out a form for me to keep my job, but they refused to give me a copy of the letter the specialist sent. I got copy of that letter and the language Malik's woman "Fatima" said was missing was in fact in the letter. The doctor had what he needed but lied, intentionally, which has cost me my job, my home-he waited until the 11th hour. Malik-your trifles with insurance manipulation which you openly brag about in front of patients.. good luck w that. But with me- You crosse a line, medically, ethically, and in many other ways. And having your receptionist come outside as if high, screaming profanities at my husband and referring to him as a woman actually captures YOUR true character, and hers. Complaints incoming.
