(BTW, nobody called me back from all the messages I had left) Within 24 hours, Chris and Jacob arrived and began clearing out the garage. They are such friendly, polite, and respectful young men. They tackled the job with ease and efficiency. Took a load off my shoulders. The garage looked brand new when they were done. We hired Movertoo Chris and Shakila to get us back to our condo. They came to our home on the day and time agreed upon and did an assessment and walk through. The next day we received a quote. The quote was fair and reasonable. They provided boxes, tape, packing paper and wardrobe boxes They helped pack our belongings and delivered on time with care and speed, it was the easiest move we have ever experienced! They are conscientious hard working and good people. There were no hidden costs and they do a clean up as part of their service. They're apparently based out of North Carolina...so that's a bit disappointing. The guys showed up bright and early this morning and told me they were going to pick up 5 items (it was supposed to be 6) and this was the first indication of trouble ahead. The person that seemed in charge this morning didn't think his truck could get down the lane due to tree limbs and hanging telephone lines which is understandable, safety first right? So we walked down to the box truck (exactly the same size and design as the trucks that delivered our stuff in the first place, what a coincidence!) and I noticed that one lane was completely passible, but he said he couldn't bring the truck down and his boss was trying to call me. His boss (in North Carolina) asked me if there was a U-Haul nearby, so that I could rent a truck to ferry the furniture and appliances from the house to the truck. I replied that I wasn't aware of a U-Haul anywhere nearby. And as the appliances were upright full sized refrigerators, I didn't think that was going to be doable, and might remove the need for the big truck in the first place, so I told him that I didn't think we could do business. So his guys left. Hope they had a great breakfast. Too bad they didn't have a smaller box van with a lift gate, and too bad the men that showed up had a Can Don't attitude. As no money was exchanged there's no harm, no foul, but I have been hearing about this all day from my wife...oh well, I'll know better next time.

I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with All My Sons Moving Company…read more They arrived three hours late without proper communication. While packing up my old apartment, they broke the living room light fixture and did not fix it or take responsibility. When we arrived at my new place, I was suddenly told I would be charged $1,000 for only eight items. This was never clearly communicated beforehand. I felt like I had no choice but to pay because they were essentially holding my belongings hostage until payment was made. It only got worse from there. When unloading, they told me one of the dressers was "too heavy" and that I would need to unload it and bring everything inside myself because they weren't going to do it. I paid a moving company to move my belongings -- not to do the labor myself. Once everything was inside, I discovered: * My dining room chair was completely broken and unusable * My couch had two holes in it * One of my dressers had a front leg completely snapped off They didn't offer to pay for any of the damage just said they would contact the workers and get back with me. They claimed the dresser was already damaged when they arrived, which is absolutely untrue. I have pictures proving it was not damaged beforehand. I contacted their supervisor as instructed and sent photos. He was no help at all and simply responded with "sorry" while insisting I had been told the pricing -- which I was not. The entire interaction felt dismissive and incredibly unprofessional. This company was late, damaged my property, overcharged me without proper communication, and refused to take accountability. I am highly disappointed and extremely frustrated with how this company is managed. I strongly recommend choosing another moving company.

The shipper, knowing the mattress weighed over 200 pounds, sent the mattress out with 2 men who clearly could not handle the task. They ended up leaving the mattress in the garage. The shipper notified me that to perform the delivery, they would need to send out 5 men at an additional cost which was outrageous. I'm 61 years old and deliver these mattresses all the time with the help of another semi-older guy. I went online looking for movers in the area and found Muscle Movers. I called and talked to Ken and he told me he was busy on another move. I explained my situation and he said he'd try to work it in. This was on a Thursday and he and one other man got the mattress out of the garage and into the customers home on Friday. His fee was more than reasonable and the fact that he extended himself like he did, I cannot express my gratitude. They violated their contract with my parents by only moving half of their belongings and then said…read morethat the condo was deemed a bio hazard. They have no proof of this and said that they have heard that there were over 10 calls to the police about the condo being a meth lab. They charged my parents 990.00 to move half of their items to their storage unit. They also charged her for 31 one items including using blankets to cover their items which they did not do. What they did take to the storage unit, they just threw it in there and didn't help manage the space and then told my parents that they were going to have to get another storage unit.

They did not have shrink wrap - used what I had left from packing. None of my furniture was wrapped with the blankets. They just draped them over the tops of some pieces and other pieces were left without any protection. I now have expensive furniture that is now scratched and dented in places.
