Booked a bicycle tour last Saturday for Sunday morning at 1000. It's a little intimidating right now, having two young children ( 1 year old and a 5 year old) and trying to do things like this. But I have to applaud Emerald Coast Tours for coming through. Clay was our tour guide, called me Sunday morning to make arrangements of who was pulling the wee bike and who was going to get the front baby seat for the 1 year old. Overall, my daughter couldn't stop talking about it, kept talking about why Andrew Jackson has no legs and arms, haha. We did the one hour tour, just to see how my 1 year old would take it. We booked a joint tour with Emerald Coast Tours and Lanier Sailing. The Emerald Coast Tour was a historic segway tour of Pensacola. Booking the tour was easy and did not require an upfront payment. Took the 2-hour historical bike tour on a Sunday. No traffic to contend with, the weather was gorgeous, we had a small group (just 4 people on our tour) and it was a leisurely pace that let us ride comfortably and not feel rushed. Good for any fitness level, and the road was relatively flat or downhill the majority of the way. Saw some neat historical spots and a cool military monument area, and got to see the beauty of the shoreline. Tourists and locals alike would enjoy the tour. first off, if anyone can fall off a Segway, it would be me....I didn't! It was a really hot day the morning we went, and we still had an incredible time! Nick got us up and running, shoved some water at us and showed us so many historical sights....even got my husband studying the Civil and Revolutionary war by the time he was done! It (He is a history teacher, and taught us some pretty amazing things about Pensacola that were not in the history books!) It's a great way to get to know downtown Pensacola, so I would recommend doing it at the beginning of your trip. Nick also gave us some great tips on where to go for some amazing food! Everything was perfect, most fun I've had in a while. We took the wine & glide segway tour 1.5 hours. Our guide Nic was very through in has training to make the first timers comfortable. Nic a lifelong Pensacolan was super knowledgeable in the history of the city. Since there were only 2 in our tour he added some additional stops that gave us even more history and fun and interesting facts. The wine shop stop was a treat, great selection of wines from around the country and the world, I bout 6 bottles, that's all that would fit on the segway, lol. Segway wine and glide. This was one of my favorite things I've done downtown. It was so out of the box got us and so fun. It was breath taking too with all the Christmas lights. That was a great bonus. I could have road around all night. Loved the history about pensacola. We also got to do a wine tasting. That was awesome. The owner isn't flexible and is insensitive. He misquotes his prices to get you to book then causes a scene when you try to come to a resolution. The tour guide doesn't speak loud enough and is quite boring. You end up standing on a Segway trying to hear her for longer periods of time than actually riding the Segway. This addition is to the owner who has accused me of lying and writing a "dishonest review". You state I would change my opinion of you if I came back in. Absolutely not. I do not appreciate the accusation as I did not lie. This is my opinion of how you handled your business. You were insensitive in your responses about my request for accommodations for my family member who has an illness (not handicapped but has limitations). You respond to inquiries and concerns with little or no understanding. And you said you would send a gift certificate so quoting my appreciation for honoring your word for that act is accurate. I was being polite and professional but you obviously cannot separate scenarios. Your response is entirely defensive and accusatory. That is not professional at all. Also your recollection of my experience is skewed... Details left out and elaborated for dramatics it appears. For example I brought the price discrepancy up to you before we toured. This is a review site and in the eyes of the customer you failed to meet my expectations thus the review. And you pushed it further with your defensive and accusatory response. Just some insight- most people who are defensive and try to point the finger instead of taking ownership are guilty. read more

I'd give zero stars if I could. We found them online but they didn't have all the information we needed so we drove to their office. We arrived at 3:45 pm. Their business hours are till 5:00 pm. The door was locked and a sign said "out on a tour. Be back soon". We looked in the window - there were at least 2 people in the office. One was by the door when my husband looked in. The guy was on his phone and turned away. What kind of customer service is this? I guess they have more business than they need. We are from out of state and will only be here 1 day. Absolutely fantastic experience! This is a must do in Pensacola. This was my wife and I's first time on a Segway and Jess did a fantastic job of making us feel comfortable and ensuring we were all ready to go before we headed out on our journey. We did the one hour tour of downtown today and we will definitely be doing another tour again soon! Riding a Segway is like nothing I've ever experienced before and after you've been ridding a few minutes, it becomes a very natural (and addicting) experience. The Segways were in good shape and the tour route worked out very well. The pricing I thought was very reasonable for the experience. This definitely won't be our last time.
