As student rec centers go, this place is the best I've ever seen. Three floors of space for all…read moresorts of fitness activities. Weight machines, free weights, bench and squat racks, group fitness studios, lap pool, basketball courts, rock wall and bouldering area, cardio machines, running track, TRX/free training area, outdoor tire flipping space, outdoor turf fields, and indoor/outdoor tennis are all options here. I feel that even at its peak hours, there are open weight machines and spaces to train (knock on wood that it stays that way in January). As far as the equipment goes, it's new and works great. I haven't seen a single piece of broken equipment in my month of training here, and I come five days per week. Additionally, there's a lobby with a huge TV for game watch parties. The staff is very friendly and helpful! If you go to UO, check this place out for your workout! I also believe there are guest passes available for sale for members of the Eugene/Springfield community.

They should stop…read morewith that immediately, as they are clearly only concerned with their availability to the student population. They close constantly at the drop of a hat. On a Saturday closed at 2:30, 6.5 hours before their posted close, and 2 hours before kickoff of the game their spoiled, entitled brat student employees want to go to, or so they told me when I gave them feedback about the ease with which they close their doors when the schedule indicates they will be open. "I don't want to be here I want to go to the game" - a literal quote from one of the "employees" of this facility.

Good place to hang out to play pool and other games. They're known for having many kinds of whiskey and liquor. Amazingly this used to be a cigar bar. It's so crazy because there's now no smoking allowed inside. This happens to be one of the oldest bars in Oregon. For sure this goes way back. In the 1800s it was a place for men to come smoke. Also they played lots of pool. They even were able to get shaves. In 1933 it became the first bar in Lane County after prohibition to get a liquor license. They also survived the smoking ban by becoming a music venue. Of course the drinks are the best thing about it. They're known for the whiskeys. It's about $9 for Pendleton. That's one of the many to choose from, some good stuff. Cool interior with lots of antiques. There's the bar, and the area's oldest neon sign among other stuff. Good place to check out history. It's one of the oldest places in the city, and state. There's no food, but you can go to a few restaurants around here though.

I am writing to report serious cleanliness and safety concerns at the spa. Over the past two…read moremonths--while visiting daily--I observed persistent mold around the rim of the spa, on the walk-in support handle, and on the window sills. I have never seen the sauna or hot tub room cleaned during that time. On two occasions I became extremely ill after visits and feared for my health. I asked staff who were cleaning the steam room to address the hot tub area and window sills, but they failed to do so. I also discovered a large clump of pubic hair in the public steam room, which is unacceptable. Despite maintaining my membership and returning sporadically to check for improvements, conditions have only worsened. Additionally, I experienced disrespectful and inappropriate behavior from other patrons while in the sauna: I was mocked, whistled at, and even approached in a way that felt like harassment. I witnessed underage girls making advances toward patrons, which is deeply troubling for a facility that should be safe and peaceful. These issues indicate a pattern of poor cleanliness practices and inadequate supervision. I will be reporting these concerns to the local health department. I urge management to address sanitation practices, staff training, and patron conduct immediately to ensure the facility is safe and welcoming for all guests. Most of the equipment has been poorly maintained and or is broken as well. Its best to be honest so here you go, this place has a sign in the front of the building saying they have the finest spa in the area, not true.

Classes are a joke (maybe 2 a week) and only 70+ yr olds there. Way better off going to a different gym

In my time there I have seen young and old come and workout here with no issues. The gym being as large as it is gives a good selection of things to do. All the equipment is new and very well maintained. However it being such a great gym means more people and your typical busy hours are BUSY. 5-7 pm is a madhouse. If you can swing earlier or later than that I would unless you don't mind waiting for equipment. This gym has free classes that a treated as first come first serve which is very nice. My wife had done their spin class and loves it. Also they have included with membership FREE tans in very nice tanning beds. I believes they have about 8 beds and I have never had to wait for one. That being said if you did have to wait, they have comfortable seating as well as FREE fully body massage chairs in a dim lit room to relax in. I have been a member of many gyms and this one for what it offers at the low price of 25.00$ a MONTH! It's an amazing deal. I have one complaint and this I believe is aimed more towards gym goers than staff. The men's locker room specifically the bathroom side has been very dirty at times. I don't know if it's the carelessness of the members to splash water all over the sink and floor or to not flush the toilets and leave paper towels on the ground but come on, grown ass adults here clean up your shit. This is a very busy gym with people coming and going throughout the day and staff can't singlehandedly stay on top of picking up after all the dirty people. Clean up your shit. Long story short, 25$ includes gym, classes, massage chairs, and tanning. Try and top that anywhere else in the area.
