While it is sometimes difficult to get a receptionist on the phone, Summers Medical offers walk-in hours in addition to scheduled appointments.They even have Saturday hours! I had a regular doctor at another location and my last two visits there were not great ( I had appointments booked and ended up driving back home without seeing him . even one booked appointment I found out he was on vacation ). About a decade ago, I was injured at work and decided to stop in and see what they can do for me. I was introduced to Dr. Haroon Hamid. He took great lengths to listen and he genuinely cared about my well being. Since then , he became my personal doctor and has always been really professional and courteous. He is not one of those doctors that listens, grabs the prescription pad, makes a scribble and off you go. Thats just not him. Regardless of what others have said about the clinic and Dr Hamid , I have always found it to be the opposite. Staff are friendly and the wait times are not more than an hour ( if you do a walk in ). If you live close to this clinic and are looking for a good family doctor, this is the place I would recommend.

Was never given a time estimate and didn't end up seeing a doctor, but we got to watch other patients come and go while we sat there ignored for the duration. We drove down the street to the Medi-Center (All Well Medical Clinic on the corner by Mill Woods Road) and were in and out in 10 min. It literally took less time for me to drive somewhere else, get the script, and come back to complain (shoppers is next door otherwise I wouldn't have bothered). When I went back to let them know about my experience I asked to speak to "the office manager or whoever is in charge so i could provide feedback". Of the two women behind the counter one could not tell me who was in charge as she had no idea and the other listened to me complain only to say nothing and give no justification for the wait. They could not explain why someone should be expected to wait for over an hour for what was easily a 2-minute written prescription, no consultation needed. Whoever runs this office needs a wake-up call. Unless you have some serious time to kill don't bother with this place. They don't value your time and you have better options nearby. Note: this is not my first time coming here but it will be my last. Each time we've come for prescriptions (puffers, birth control, etc) it's always an 60-90min wait. Yet somehow the All-Well Medical Clinic manages to get us in an out in under 15min, every. single. time. The difference between the two? Competency and Respect.

I've always found it easy to get an appointment with my doctor, but when she has been unavailable, I've seen other doctors at the clinic (at least four) and been comfortable with them all. Since all my charts and files are kept at the clinic, whichever doctor I see has my history there, and my regular GP can access them next time I see her. The thing I love the most about this clinic is that it is also a walk in, and my doctor reserves a couple of walk in spots a day for her regular patients. When I have had need of walk in services, I've been able to call the clinic when it opens and often get a quick visit with my doctor. I hate going to the doctor, so if I like a clinic, it's worth sharing!
