They even brought out a toy chest where my son was able to pick up 3 little Toys. They did their best to make him comfortable during this very traumatic moment. Asking my friend why he was there, several times, and then said he should have gone to the hospital emerg. and when my friend explained he was concerned with his eyes and if he could take a look the doctor told my friend he should have gone to see an optometrist if he was concerned with his eyes. I honestly have no words for the lack of empathy or concern this supposed doctor had. He should not be in this profession if he doesn't have time to help people. Isn't that what a doctor does??!!

It's a little difficult to find if you're not used to the area. You can get to the clinic by walking through the very busy and crowded Shopper's Drug Mart. Forewarning - some of the clientele is sketchy. Hold your purses close and hide your devices. I had someone who was clearly high lingering around seemingly stalking me. I walked into the clinic without an appointment and it was madness. The girl at the front desk was stressed while some ignorant man was yelling at her. Being an admin or receptionist is a thankless job at times. I don't know what people hope to achieve by yelling at staff. It just makes things worse for everyone else involved. I was advised the wait would be at least 1.5 hours. So I went next door to Shoppers and got an older prescription filled. That took way longer than it should have. I was told the wait would be 30 minutes but I waited over an hour. I'll be leaving a scathing review for Shoppers next. Once that was finished I wandered back into the clinic next door. Imagine my surprise that it was completely empty. The girl at the front desk managed to get me in with zero wait time and I was in and out of my appointment in less than 10 minutes. Dr. Stromberg doesn't look at you during your appointment, like she can't be bothered. If you are there and need to show her why you came in, she tells you, "I don't need to see it" in a snarky matter. Then how can you help fix it if you don't know what it is? I have another family member that was transferred to her as well. She was called into the office for test results and Dr.Stromberg did not even know why she was there. Dr. Stromberg didn't bother to find the letter to see the results, just started making her own suggestions. When people have been going through years and years of treatment already, and the doctor cannot even be bothered to read anything to make NEW and APPROVED suggestions, it is a waste time. Dr. Stromberg could care less about her patients and this is coming from multiple ones. Never did get the test results.
