The biweekly lawn service includes more than any other service I have signed up for - edging, mowing, bush trimming, and bagging sticks, etc. as needed. I have been using them for over 2 months and they have provided consistently excellent service. Not only do they show up when they say they will, but they also communicate with me regularly by sending emails or texts to check in on how things are going. I was able to meet Marian, the owner, to get a quote on some landscaping projects we have in mind and she was kind and helpful. We haven't moved forward with the landscaping projects yet but will definitely go with Metro Atlanta Lawn Care when we are ready to proceed. Can't recommend this company enough!

Kids in my neighborhood charge less than $100 and leave it looking better than these guys did. When I raised my concerns, they completely stopped responding. Overall, the service was overpriced and mediocre. They know the work they did does not match what they charged me. And when I said something, they went ghost. No way I'd use them again.

He came out and although did a good job of the areas he did do, he skipped a large portion of my backyard underneath the trees. I even questioned it when he sent me pictures as it appeared it wasn't done. He said it was. Sure enough it wasn't and I contacted him the following day asking him why. He told me that I said not to do the areas with the pine straw which is true but that area does not have pine straw. I repeated myself many times and added that if that area has pine straw it was from the trees that have fallen not unlike the leaves. He kept saying he was going to lose money and it would const him more money to go the dump. He then went back out to my house after that call and texted me that it would be an additional $150.00 for the "extra work" and he just wanted to make me happy. I texted him back that I am not happy and I am not planning to pay him more. I even sent him pictures of that area to show him that it never had pine straw as he was claiming but he kept saying that he will lose money. We had numerous texts back and forth and I kept telling him I will not pay extra. He then decided to text me accusing me of not wanting to pay him anything which was never said by me AND I just paid him online 45 minutes prior. I immediately called him within a minute of reaching that text and he chose not to pick up. I texted him that he was already paid and I was offended on his statement. Asked him not to contact me again or show to my property. I now paid him in full for him not doing the entire job. Nobody in their right mind would ask someone to only cleanup half their yard as the first winds would just blow everything around. It is not the customer's fault that you miss quoted your work. It is bad business to take it out on the customer.

I saw some good reviews, and decided to try Stam's Landscaping. After a few scheduling issues (not…read moreon my part), I finally met Ellie at my house. She seemed nice and gave me a pretty average quote for what I requested. After another scheduling issue (again, not on my part), the work was done. The result "looked" decent, but didn't "wow" me... No problem. I noticed a lot of the rocks that I had placed (gray slate) changed colors, after a few days. I politely asked if this was normal (I know nothing about landscaping), and Ellie became overly defensive, and borderline rude. I had a 2nd opinion and was told that other rocks were mixed in with the slate... Not what I paid for... Still, being the nice guy I am, I let it go and moved on with my life. After about 2 weeks, I had so many weeds taking over my rock bed. I investigated further and saw that, not only were the weeds and old rose vines not pulled from the root or killed, the landscape fabric wasn't laid under the entire rock bed, as promised! I got 2nd and 3rd opinions, from other landscapers, and was told that I got played for a fool! Yet and STILL, I never mentioned it to Stam's and wanted to give then yet another shot... I scheduled online AND spoke to Ellie and was stood up... I tried to reschedule, was made a promise, and was stood up again. I sent a final text that went ignored. I feel that I am a very understanding, polite, and generous person/customer. I did nothing to deserve the utter disrespect that I received from Stam's. I wonder what's the difference between me and the customers that received good service... Hmmmm... I wonder. I give two stars, and that's me being generous (as usual). I wish I had put a tarp down on my driveway before the drop. But it was easy to rinse off, even the dyed stuff (granted I used a little ryobi pressure washer).
