I started my journey with Dr. Aimee 10 years ago, when I first went to see her about freezing my…read moreeggs. At the time, I wasn't ready to start a family, but I wanted to keep my options open. I didn't have a lot of eggs, so I had to undergo several retrievals. As I got older, the quality of my eggs also declined. At my last retrieval, when I was 40, Dr. Aimee recommended trying PRP. She was very honest with me that it was a newer procedure, but that the results were promising. I ended up retrieving just two eggs. We created embryos, and incredibly, we ended up with one healthy baby boy and one healthy baby girl. Our son--the little boy my husband had always hoped for--came from one of those eggs I retrieved at age 40. With Dr. Aimee's help, I became pregnant through IVF, and we welcomed our beautiful son, who is now 2 1/2 years old. When we decided we wanted a second child, my previous delivery had been difficult, so we made the decision to use a surrogate. Once again, Dr. Aimee was there for us every step of the way. She connected me with multiple agencies, and I didn't have to wait long before finding an amazing surrogate who had been screened by Dr. Aimee. She was local, which meant I was able to be part of the pregnancy and birth journey in a way that was incredibly special to me. I also had a difficult time finding an in-network doctor we felt comfortable with, and Dr. Aimee personally recommended someone and helped make the connection. She went above and beyond--not just as our fertility doctor, but as someone who genuinely cared about helping us complete our family. Our healthy baby girl was just born, and she is absolutely perfect. I am so incredibly grateful to Dr. Aimee and her amazing team for everything they have done for our family over the past 10 years. They have been there for us through every stage of this journey, and I truly don't know what our family would look like without them. My husband jokes that if Dr. Aimee told me to jump off a bridge, I probably would. And honestly, he's right. That's how much I trust her. She is kind, compassionate, brilliant, honest, and direct. She always has her patients' best interests at heart and works tirelessly to help them achieve their dreams of building a family. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Aimee for helping us bring our two beautiful children into the world. She didn't just help us have babies--she helped us complete our family. I cannot recommend her and her team highly enough.

After many years, my husband and I decided to try again. This time, we went through his insurance. We had such a horrible experience with the other clinic, we moved our leftover embryos back with Dr. Aimee. She gladly accepted to help us with our second. I cannot praise Dr. Aimee enough! She is a literal angel on earth. The reason we went to Dr. Aimee for our first son was because we didn't want to be treated like another number on a conveyor belt and she did not disappoint. Dr. Aimee goes above and beyond what anyone could ever expect as a patient. She has amazing bedside manners, she's hilarious and she answers any and all questions very thoroughly - I always wonder how she sleeps. If results didn't go our way, she showed us so much compassion. We never felt like another number/statistic and that's more than you can ever ask for while going through the stress of IVF. She might not take insurance, but you definitely get what you pay for. I've been with her for 2 retrievals, 6 years apart resulting in my 2 beautiful babies. We cannot thank Dr. Aimee enough! I've seen her practice expand and it's exciting to see how many more people she's able to help. Her team is AMAZING, warm and comforting. They communicate and troubleshoot issues efficiently and effectively. I never had any surprises with procedures or billing. We would recommend her a million times over because she is such a gem in Healthcare and an amazing human being. Thank you Dr. Aimee for helping us expand our family two times!! Saying we are greatful for Dr. Aimee is an understatement. We get to cherish our beautiful babies because of you. We love you!

I'm writing this review in 2026 about an experience I had with Dr. Matthews in 2024, because it…read morestill stands out as one of the most stressful parts of my pregnancy. I began seeing Dr. Matthews in October 2023 after learning I was pregnant. From the beginning, I shared that I was also working with midwives and hoped to pursue a home birth if my pregnancy progressed safely. At no point during the early months of my care was I told that she does not co-manage patients with midwives or that this would prevent her from continuing as my OB. On April 5, 2024 -- at 30 weeks pregnant and classified as high-risk -- I received a notice stating she would no longer be able to continue my care because she does not "co-manage" with midwives. This was the first time I was informed of such a policy. I asked for clarification and received no meaningful response beyond confirmation that she would not continue my care. Being dismissed that late in pregnancy, especially as a high-risk patient, created unnecessary stress and made it extremely difficult to secure a new OB. Many providers are unwilling to take on high-risk patients deep into the third trimester. Beyond the sudden termination of care, I did not feel supported in my birth preferences throughout my time as her patient. My concerns were often minimized, and the communication around this decision lacked transparency and compassion. I ultimately filed a complaint with my insurance and pursued additional reporting. Clear policies and honest conversations at the beginning of care matter. No patient should find out at 30 weeks that their provider will no longer treat them for reasons that could have been addressed months earlier. I'm sharing this so other patients can ask direct questions about co-management policies before committing to care.

This place should not be in business, and the doctors' licenses should be revoked. Not to mention, they have their patient files visible from the lobby, and was able to see confidential information (PHI/PII exposed) - this is a HIPAA violation. If you decide to come here (against better judgment), make sure to avoid Danielle at the front desk, she provided probably the worst service/experience I've ever witnessed at a medical facility. Goes without saying, it's not just Danielle that was terrible, the "Doctor" Mathews was 20 minutes late to the appointment (which I watched her walk into work late), then she didn't know how to use the EPIC system that shares medical information between medical facilities, and had attitude the entire time. This is not a professional environment; you can get better service in a third-world country. Overall, DON'T GO HERE!!!

From my first appointment with him, I felt heard. He listened to every concern and acknowledged my anxiety throughout my pregnancy, always calming my nerves. I had a couple of ER visits due to nausea, and he made sure to call and check on me and baby afterward each time. I had even scheduled my induction for the day he would be on-call because I wanted him to deliver my baby. However, baby decided to arrive on her own five days early, and he wasn't able to deliver her. Nonetheless, thanks to him, I had an amazingly smooth second pregnancy and delivery. I'm done having kids, and I'm sad I won't get to see him often. I wish he had been my OBGYN for my first pregnancy, but I will continue seeing Dr. Nguyen for my other gynecological needs.

I had been in antepartum at Hoag for a little over 2 weeks due to a short cervix. He and I discussed my situation and then went about our day as my stay had been uneventful one thus far. Little did we know how the day would transpire. Long story short, my water ended up breaking early that afternoon and Dr. Nguyen delivered my twins via C-section. Although I had only met Dr. Nguyen that morning, he brought such a good calming presence that I was at ease being in his care. He even made it a point to find and let my mom know after the surgery that the babies and I were just fine. We were lucky enough to see him again 11 days post delivery as he stopped by the NICU to check in on us and the boys. That alone is enough to show the type of doctor and let alone person that he is. I could not recommend him enough and am so thankful he was the OB working that day.
