I definitely would not recommend Dr. Eyvazzadeh. I had gone in for an appointment last May just for a consultation/office visit. He spent about 10 min talking to me and made me very uncomfortable from the beginning. Afterward, he had decided I needed to do an ultrasound even though I had already done one recently within the last few months, which I did mentioned to him. I had agreed to it at that time and looking back I shouldn't have. He was really rough during the trans-vaginal ultrasound hurt a lot (note I've done over a dozen trans-vaginal ultrasounds in the past and they should not be this painful). Not only that but he also made rude, unnecessary and unprofessional comments during the ultrasound about how much fecal matter there was. In the end, he concluded everything looked fine, which of course it would because I had just done an ultrasound a few months prior. My guess for this extraneous ultrasound is that he wanted to collect more money from me and my insurance. The doctor has been trying to collect money for this procedure and his office has been mailing it to the wrong address for the last 8 months until now that he finally got right mailing address. And they are threatening to send this bill to "collection services" because I haven't paid. I don't understand why they couldn't have called me to settle the bill. Either way, I would definitely not recommend this doctor if you are looking for a kind and caring professional doctor with a good team, this is not the place to go. read more

I chose Dr Eyvazzadeh because he was one of the few doctors who delivers at San Ramon Regional. I had one initial prenatal appointment, at which I decided never to go back. Reasons: -Reviews are spot on; he is extremely old school. Before even doing an exam, he brings you into his office and sits you down at his desk and goes over his little questionnaire that could have easily been done during the exam or online beforehand. -I was under the impression that he was part of the John Muir network (see: https://www.johnmuirhealth.com/fad/doctor/profile/1881702462), in which case I would have been able to see my records online. NOT the case. ALL of his records are paper only. What year is this?? What happens if the office burns down? -When I asked him a question, he abruptly cut me off and said "we're getting to that." Um OK then buddy, on your terms... -Staff was rude. When I asked about online access they seemed utterly confused. They told me to call if I needed something. What?? -I waited quite a while even though my appointment was the first of the day and there was no one else in the waiting room. -Several weeks afterwards I received a bill of almost $300. Yes, my insurance is terrible but it also states that prenatal appointments are "covered." After several calls to them and an appeal to my insurance company I was proven wrong; apparently they coded it as a routine checkup to "determine pregnancy." I'm confused yet again; I already determined my own pregnancy via a home test. This was my first prenatal visit. But no, they duped me and I still owed it. Almost a year later, and I am still beyond angry. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Even if the drive is longer, deliver at John Muir instead. read more

Ballpark... he is amazing if you have a routine and non complicated pregnancy. If you have any issues, he will freak out and scare the hell out of you! Sooooo... I was referred her by one of my good friends. She always said amazing things about Dr. Emil. Keep in mind I'm 34 and just got married. I made an appt and the first visit went well. He told me he feels a fibroid and wants to do an ultrasound. So I made that appt about 2 weeks after. During by the ultrasound, he would keep saying.... hmmm... oh no... oh wow .... hmmm... ok! And so forth' and I dying and pale sacred thinking WTH is going on. He gets done and tells me to sit up... and he goes " ok, so this is not good! You have huge fibroid.... around 6x6 mm... it's big! Be careful do not get pregnant. It's very dangerous... you have to get it caesarian and remove it. It's a risky surgery and not to scare you, but you may lose your uterus" ........... I'm already dying and am so shocked I can't even process what he just said!!!! I don't wanna get into too much detail here.... but I went to 2 other OB's.... yes, they ALMOST said the same thing..... but man the way they said was different!!! I think he is at a point that doesn't want to deal with any. Complications or he freaks out too much or too quickly. I have so much respect for Dr Emil Eyvazzadeh and his staff. He delivered both of my babies and was by far one of the kindest, thorough and patient Doctors I've ever encountered. Not only did he have to deal with my questions he only had to deal with me and all of my pregnancy hormones and he did it with grace and a smile. My deliveries went well and I felt confident having Dr Eyvazzadeh by my side. He encouraged me through the hardest times of my labor and never seemed rushed or in a hurry. I always felt like me and my children were in the best hands possible. His staff is amazing. Lily always greets my family with love and a smile. She is so kind with my kids and always goes out of her way to make us feel special. My kids enjoy finding their birth announcements and Christmas cards on his wall and enjoy meeting the man who delivered them. Dr Eyvazzadeh comes out and socializes with my small children, not because he has to, it's because this is the man he is. So caring. So kind. I recommend this practice highly. If you're looking for an Obgyn, stop your looking and give them a call. I always tell Dr Eyvazzadeh he can NEVER retire! Dr. Emil Eyvazzadeh delivered our first baby girl with flying colors. I ended up needing a C-Section due to complications that came up during my labor. I must admit the labor was stressful and scary, but Dr. Eyvazzadeh's calm and professional nature put me at ease. He was able to make sound decisions quickly, and performed my C-Section flawlessly. I have read some of the reviews on here, and can't believe some people who give him low ratings. Yes he has a different personality than other doctors, but he has the best intentions and really does care about his patients. He is more traditional, straight forward, and doesn't really sugar coat things for you. If you don't like this type of bedside manner, then when you first have a consultation with him you can choose not to see him. The fact is: he is an experienced, knowledgeable, and caring doctor. He always takes time to answer your questions and explains complicated things in ways that are easy to understand. He gives great advice, but doesn't push things on you. He also doesn't buy into a lot of the modern fluff that people hear and read about. He is more 'old school' and sticks to what he knows from experience. Today I swung by his office to say hi and let everyone meet the beautiful baby girl he delivered. His staff is so friendly, and even when he is so busy he still takes the time to say hi and connect. I feel really lucky to have found such a great doctor! On a side note... You may have to wait a bit for some appointments, so bring a book or your phone to keep you busy. I saw Dr. Emil Eyvazzadeh and I would not recommend him nor ever go back! I found him to be unprofessional in that he gave me an exam without a female present in the room. By law you have to have someone present! How is it that he doesn't know the laws of the US when he has been practicing in this country. The other problem I had with him, is that I came to the apt with my ultrasound report from 4 days ago and he wanted to schedule another ultrasound. I have just moved from Chicago and was extremely apprehensive about finding a gyne, however a positive pregnancy test and a trip to the ER resulted in an immediate need for one. First the reception: Amazing!! So sweet. I had bad morning sickness during my appointment time and was running late. The ladies told me not to worry at all! They were so reassuring and nice. The Doctor: I visited Dr.E who completely dispelled all my fears calmly and rationally. He looked at my lab work and we did an ultrasound and saw my baby and the heartbeat!! He explained the entire ultrasound to me, pointed everything out and he was just as excited as me to see my baby!!!! Dr. Eyvazzadeh is great!!! I had an amazing experience with him through my pregnancy and delivery. I was a newbie having my first baby so I had a lot of questions and he was always there for me to answer them whenever I needed. He was very cautious about my health and played it safe with a blood pressure issue I had during pregnancy which I really appreciated. His answer service is awesome too. During the delivery he was steady and calm. I had a flawless experience (I can't speak for everything who has delivered with him) but my experience was exactly what I wanted. I got an epidural four days before I was due because baby and I were huge and I got an epidural before I ever started having contractions, so my labor was a cake walk and I didn't feel anything I actually woke up from a nap a few hours after coming into the hospital and baby's head was half way out!!! He got my hubby involved too which was sweet and he kept my family out until I was covered up which I had told him was important to me during one of my previous appointments. Overall, Dr. Eyvazzadeh gave me exactly want I wanted: a healthy baby, an easy labor, and attention to all my needs. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a OB who is going to put you first and make you feel like a queen during one of the most insane times of your life. read more

I've only had good experiences with Dr. E. His staff is very helpful and nice. We only had to wait once for our appointment, otherwise, we were always showed in on time. Dr E. was very responsive and answered all our questions during my pregnancy. He is very calm and relaxed which is what we needed for a first baby. My pregnancy was not the smoothest but who's really is I?! I got lucky have such an amazing doctor to be with me every step of the way! I have one healthy beautiful baby boy thanks to him. Dr Emil was the best he was great at all my month to months visit and the final day he was there! I was very scared until he arrived it was calm even though I had a last min c section he keep me calm the whole time. Even when I was so scared because I felt the maker on my tummy he waited til I was completely numb and even though it was a tough csection,I couldn't breath had to have oxygen I'm so happy I had him he talked to me the whole time and kept my husband calm as well. That after birth was great he checked in on me and never left my side and now I'm going to move but I won't move after he delievers my baby goals! I don't even have a csection scar it looks like nothing but a 3 inch faded mark. This was long due my baby is now turning 2 this year in April! Doctor is magnificent always there to help and makes you feel comfortable in his own office. Only reason why I am giving his office 1 Star is because of how unprofessional the front desk is. Dr Eyvazzadeh is my second dr since I found out I'm pregnant. He spends time to make sure you understand echo phase of pregnancy. He listens to babies heartbeats and does not recommend unnecessarily ultrasounds. I feel really confidant with his advices and care and I have 17 more days to my due date. Two members of Dr. Eyvazzadeh's staff were very rude to both me and my daughter on the telephone. They denied my daughter service, refill on a pain medication (Vicodin) and an appointment. My daughter was delinquent on a bill that inadvertantly went into collections. She was told that the bill need to be paid before appointments could be made. I paid the bill and she was still denied prescription refill and an appointment. My daughter suffers from endometriosis and is in severe pain once a month when her female cycle comes around. They know how much she suffers and instead, the nurse laughed at her instead of offering compassion. To leave her without a prescription and pain reliever is inexcusable! read more

Late review but My husband and I were so happy with our overall experience with Dr. Emil and the whole staff. From the first meeting , Dr. Emil put me at ease. He have a very calm, thorough, happy and positive demeanor. My postnatal check up showed I have High risk dysplasia and Dr. Emil right away scheduled a LEEP surgery with no hassle. Dr Eivazzadeh is not at all good Dr. Maybe he is good if there is no complication, but if you have any complications, pls dont go to him. He does not show any compassion, has no manners, and thinks he is quite something! I had complications with my baby and I had to specifically ask him to put me on bedrest. This doctor is something else. My experience with him has been really nice. I had miscarried from last pregnancy so i transferred from dr. Cristine riley to dr. Emil. The office was far from me but i didnt care. For the right doctor i will sacrifice. To start off my initial appointment was sudden and was for same day yet lily, the filipina receptionist accommodated me. The office was immaculate, quiet and very presentable. Right away i felt at ease with the staff. They even gave me a velvet cake while i wait. Re the doctor, the pros.. He would call you personally to answer your questions. He would leave a message if he cant reach you. He doesnt have nurses to do his job. He would say straight if he was unsure or didnt know the answer to my questions like will my fibroid grow? Why am i experiencing chest pain? He also told me straight if he thinks i need not worry anymore abt an earlier concern. He is also pretty funny and would crack jokes to put u at ease. So fast forward he sent me to er gor chest pain.. When my vitals stabilized he recommended for my delivery. We agreed due to my blood pressure being quite high and diabetes. He said dont wait three more days as i was scheduled cs. Lets do it now while you and baby are okay. My husband and i taught this was a very smart decision. I remember asking if he is ready and he said he had been ready for 30 yrs. This is how long he has been delivering. The nurses who took care of me has worked with him for years and were as impressed. On delivery date he was calm superb supportive and ensured my safety and the baby. My bp was rocketing high so he gave me bp meds. He visited and checked on me daily. Btw i gave birth on a sat.. :) I also had tubal ligation which he performef on the same surgery... So now my baby is two months. Healthy and strong. My incision doesnt hurt anymore. I also was able to get disability benefits as advised by lily, the receptionist. I was covered for 12 weeks. My only alert is make sure to be clear on how much are the charges before starting care coz this may be an issue to some folks who do not have much... read more

I just realzed after my appointment with Dr. Evazzadeh that after over 15 years, I am grateful to be in such good hands with his office and practice. With my past medical history complications, I have been treated professionally and efficiently. He listens to what is important and applies his excellent clinical skills appropriately and delivers solutions in a timely fashion with his professional staff as supprt. I have delivered two beautiful children naturally against all odds. Any other female issues have been handled as though I were a part of his family. When I walk out of his office, I feel a sense of well being and as if though I have been taken care of and that's what matters. Dr Emil recently helped me through an emergency DC. He is not my regular Gynecologist- so this was my first interaction with him. After speaking to him on the phone to check I wasn't overreacting - he remained calm, and professional. Dr. Eyvazzadeh delivered our healthy, happy son on 8.11.15 at San Ramon Regional Medical Center. We could not have asked for a better pregnancy or birth experience. We felt immediately at ease with the Dr. from our first meet and greet appointment. He exudes a calm and extremely experienced energy which gave us the utmost confidence in him from day 1. Our prenatal appointments were a breeze and made all the more fun by his wonderful office staff. We felt like everyone was fully invested in my health and the health of our baby. At every visit he asked if we had any questions and gave us thorough answers. We always had his full attention during our visits and our appointments almost always ran perfectly on-time. At 37 weeks we found out baby was breech and had a c-section scheduled for 2 weeks later. Although it wasn't the natural delivery we'd planned for, we knew 110% that Dr. E had our best interests at heart to ensure baby and mommy stayed healthy and safe. The surgery was a breeze, even though I was so nervous the morning of. Our recovery went as expected for a major surgery, Dr. E checked in on us every day during our 4 day, 3 night stay in the hospital (his awesome staff gals even came to meet our sweet little one too!). We are now 3 weeks+ post delivery and doing great, feeling very well and keeping active per the Dr's recommendations. We recommend Dr. Eyvazzadeh whole heartedly and look forward to delivering baby #2 with him in the future! read more

Dr. Eyvazzadeh has been my doctor for almost twenty years. He is truly seasoned and expeirenced in what he does. He diagnosed my problem immediately and took care of it when I needed to have a hysterectomy. And for that I am truly appreicative. His staff is also very professional and experienced. Dr. Eyvazzadeh is an outstanding physician!!! He delivered all three of my children over a 15 year span. His bedside manner is extraordinary! Dr. Eyvazzadeh and his staff are nothing short of exceptional. I credit Dr. Eyvazzadeh with saving the life of my youngest son, as well as saving my ovaries. I developed a large ovarian cyst at 27 weeks pregnant and Dr. Eyvazzadeh performed emergency surgery to remove the cyst. He then continued to monitor my pregnancy closely with the compassion and care I've come to expect from Dr. Eyvazzadeh.
