Dr. Aimee is not only an incredible doctor, but also an incredible human being. She is very kind and empathetic and has great bedside manner. I have been seeing Dr. Aimee for about a year now and figured it was time for a review. Although we have not been successful yet, I have been to several other clinics prior to Dr. Aimee and truly feel that she has been the best by far and wanted to lay out a few reasons: (1) Dr. Aimee personally saw me for every single appointment so she was the one doing my ultrasound and bloodwork. She also always took extra time to have us speak to her in her office after every appointment to go over next steps. That is a level of care I haven't seen at other clinics, where it is sometimes rare to see your doctor more than a few times the entire cycle. (2) I have been going through IVF for 4 years, which means I have had many many ultrasounds done throughout that time. I had been diagnosed with DOR and "unexplained" infertility. Since Dr. Aimee personally attended to me at every appointment, she got to know my symptoms and body very well. She knew what was normal for me and what was not normal. After only 5 months with Dr. Aimee, she discovered silent endometriosis off a random comment I made about a sore back, despite no signs of endometriosis. She was then able to guide me towards a specialist, where I had laparoscopic surgery to discover Stage II endometriosis. I likely would've continued believing "unexplained" infertility was my diagnosis if she hadn't put in the effort to dig deeper. This is a huge benefit when you are actually seeing your provider every appointment. (3) Communication with Dr. Aimee is readily available and easy. This has been really helpful for me in those random moments where something stressful comes up or if something happens over the weekend, she is always responsive. I really appreciate the communication aspect because infertility is a huge and stressful battle and she truly makes sure that your doctor is not an additional source of stress. This is unlike other clinics I have been to, where communication and getting in touch with your doctor can be really difficult. She truly cares about each and every patient and wants you to succeed. (4) Dr. Aimee is a great doctor for people that feel like they've "tried everything else." She is willing to think outside the box to come up with different solutions to your problems. Additionally, she is constantly doing research and trying to find new ideas on how to find new avenues to success. There are so many other great things I want to say about Dr. Aimee, but it would make this review even longer! As a huge fan of palindrome numbers, I figured review #999 should be something out of the norm of restaurants and boba shops. Something that we struggled with for a while due to age was infertility. We had actually seen several fertility specialists during this long journey, and have gone through 3 rounds of IVF (2 mini's and 1 conventional) as well as an IUI. Although they were all unfortunately unsuccessful, we discovered that not all fertility clinics and doctors are created equal. While we found that many doctors take a very traditional, rigid and cookie cutter approach to treatment. Focusing more on luck through repeated attempts, Dr. Aimee was much more focused and tailored in her regiment. We always felt informed during this process, and confident in Dr. Aimee's recommendations. And unlike other clinics, we were always able to get ahold of Dr. Aimee directly. Instead of communicating with a nurse who would then pass the message along to the doctor if they felt it needed escalation. Along these lines, we were always shocked at how quickly we were usually able to get a response from Dr. Aimee. Sometimes even late at night. We often joked that Dr. Aimee probably doesn't sleep. Our only complaints about going with Dr. Aimee revolved around a few issues: 1) The initial application process to get a consultation with Dr. Aimee was lengthy, difficult, and required a lot of chasing from my wife due to poor follow-up and communication from the office. The individual handling review and processing of new patient applications would often go awol for days on end after sending out limited communication. 2) Billing was oftentimes not very clear and created a need for us to meticulously examine our bills line by line to ensure accuracy. 3) Dr. Aimee does not accept any insurance so 100% of the costs will be out of pocket. In addition, her rates are substantially higher than other clinics. Although we were ultimately unsuccessful with IVF, we were eventually blessed with a miracle baby through natural birth. If only I had talked less to hear more of what she had to say ;) Prior to the consultation, I was overwhelmed and had decision paralysis but she provided fresh perspective, individualized treatment recommendations with research citations and helped me problem solve in real time. Recurrent miscarriages means you feel very alone, so I am so grateful for Dr Aimee and her a positive, hands-on approach and willingness to work on "hard cases" - I've had so many friends that I've referred to her, and friends who have found her on their own, and I'm just so glad Dr Aimee's always there to provide hope and prompt options for becoming a parent one way or another. After suffering a devastating 19.5 week loss (naturally conceived) in March of 2023, we struggled for over a year to get pregnant. I knew if we were going to explore fertility treatment, we wanted to go to the best. Cue Dr. Aimee. I truly have no words for the level of care, kindness, and support Dr. Aimee provided us. I emailed her a LOT, and she responded within minutes. I truly don't know how she does it. Her bedside manner is unmatched - she's warm, inviting, hilarious, and just fun to be around. On our first go, we did things for our IVF cycle that are typically only offered with other clinics after you've failed one or two cycles. To say Dr. Aimee is amazing is really an understatement. She is a great doctor, but she is more than that. She is a woman and a mother and she understands the desire women have to be moms. I'm not sure if I'm an easy or difficult case, but she took me on and figured out my issues immediately. I'm older and I've been through IVF before (out of state) and I have a beautiful 3 yr old boy from that. Over a year ago we decided we wanted to try again -this time in CA. I needed an egg donor (though I often wonder if I would have needed that donor had I seen Dr. Aimee when I first started my fertility journey 6 years ago). Hindsight is 20/20! After having 2 IVF transfers over the past year, 2 pregnancies, and 2 miscarriages (with another doctor in the Bay Area- Spring Fertility) I knew I needed to make a change. My embryos were tested so it really was odd that either, and definitely both ended in a miscarriage. Dr. Aimee was recommended to me by my OBGYN. I contacted her late one evening and she responded to my email immediately. That was so nice. After that conversation I got set up to see her a few days later. Dr. Aimee knew the right questions to ask to get at some information that was missed by my previous doctor. That information was very likely the cause of both miscarriages. She treated me like a patient and not a file. She customized my treatment, which saved me time, money, and heartache. And it gave us answers. We are Pregnant :-) :-) :-) After our first FET failed with a PGT tested embryo, Dr.Aimee changed the protocol from medicated to modified natural cycle for our 2nd FET and said no other tests are required and that worked. She made sure me and my husband are peaceful through out. After our first FET I took 6 months break from our treatment as my mother was very unwell. When I emailed her after 6 months that we are ready for our next FET, she replied back with in 5 mins saying she is ready and we got this. These are things that makes her different from others. Just wanted to share my experience with Dr. Aimee. For reference, I'm a black woman in my early 30s that decided to do IVF as a SMBC. Dr. Aimee and I had a video visit and we discussed everything about my journey to motherhood. She was very "I won't take your word for it, I need to see the results." After a traumatic hospital experience which resulted in the death of my infant, I'm very taken aback by people like this. The type that believe the doctors not the patients. But, she was the "best" and was nice so I shrug it off because I wanted my baby. I scheduled a baseline appointment and when I arrived she was sooo rushed. She counted 17 follicles in like 5 seconds and was hopeful that I'd get 3-5 embryos. I was uncomfortable about how rushed she was and ended up not going further with her. Long story short: I proceeded with another clinic that counted 46 follicles intially (they counted each ovary twice) and ended up with 39 mature eggs, leading to 16 day 5 and greater embryos after one IVF cycle. The doctor I went with listened to ME. She HEARD me and I'm beyond grateful that I went with her and her team. Dr. Aimee may be good at what she does but she was definitely not the doctor for me. read more

I just gave birth to our precious baby girl last week. I know all of her patients will agree that she is among the best in her industry. She stays up to date on the latest advances in fertility and IVF, and suggests considering any number of them based on each couple's set of circumstances. What she doesn't do is insist that she will only do it "her way." She is anything but dismissive of her patients' ideas and input. I never felt like I didn't have complete control over what treatments to try or not. Dr. Aimee's passion for helping not just her patients but as many women and couples as possible is abundantly clear. In addition to her practice, she regularly reaches people around the world through interviews, videos and articles. And yet despite all the work she puts in on that front, she really does, as she says, treat every patient like a VIP. There was not a single time that I emailed her personally and didn't get a response by the end of the day. I had lots of questions and concerns along the way, but I never felt like she was too busy for me. I cannot recommend Dr. Aimee due to my unpleasant experience. I had IUI and IVF with her and both failed unfortunately. For my consultation and base line appointments there, I agreed with some reviewers that she was not well prepared or informative, and the follicle count was about half less than another doctor. My husband observed and kept telling me she worked causally. But I chose her eventually because of her educational background, flexible schedule and those "good" reviews. First, what disappointed me was her unpunctuality. She was late for our IUI procedure, and she only arrived clinic about 5 min before our egg retrieval procedure, which started late as well. Both procedures were in early mornings and most importantly TIME SENSITIVE. My stress level increased a lot both times because of starting late. These could also be the contributing factor to the failures. Secondly, my egg retrieval result was a failure. 50% egg maturity was very low as compared to other doctors I learnt at 80% and that could be controllable. She was so confident that she only ran blood tests 2 times during the stimulation process. This disappointing result made me question about her clinical skills and experience. She concluded the failure was all about my egg quality, saying even supplement could not improve, which was inconsistent with what she said on her YouTube video. Thirdly, I was confused by her inconsistency. During my IUI process, we found a uterine polyp after taking Femara. She told me I would need surgery to remove the polyp because it won't disappear. She also provided her cost and surgery location info to us. I waited and months later, I found my polyp disappeared on its own, which correlated to some studies and my OB/GYN experience. After telling her, she said YES it could disappear. Luckily, I waited otherwise I might risk the uterine damage with the surgery. Last but not least, many reviewers were impressed with her super-fast email reply, which maybe her marketing tactics. However, what is more important to me would be true patient care. The morning when my egg retrieval was done, she left the clinic (Not her clinic) before I woke up from Anesthesia, about 10 min after the procedure. I received her email eleven hours later. Well, I would expect there was a brief meeting with her after the procedure there. But the reality was indifferent. From my experience, her premium price tag cannot justify the quality of care. I feel that she was not working seriously or in details for my case. Honestly, I think those "good" reviews were overrated and were unrealistically close to 100% success rate. Few months after the egg retrieval, my periods are still abnormal. I am very concerned if there was anything wrong with her treatment process! read more

As a fellow medical professional in another field I was very apprehensive on IVF. I tell my patients never to Google medical information, but here I was scouring the net to find why this treatment would work, % of success, what to look for in an IVF doctor etc etc. From our experience there were numerous ups and downs. One day things appear rosy the next you are fearful for the future. My wife and I gave Dr. Aimee our trust in her as a professional. We quickly realized that she is managing the hopes of many many couples. There will be moments in your journey where she makes calculated judgements without emotion, focuses on facts and gives honest advise. All whilst taking each lose and victory to her heart. That is no easy feat. She referred us to a doctor in New York for PRP treatment that really turned things around for us. She wanted to perform this herself but the local facilities were not up to speed with their implementation. I believe this could be different now, I would encourage you to ask Dr. Aimee, to see if you could benefit from this 'game changer'. Today we stand with 6 Grade A embryos. Of course it could have completely different we could have 0. My review is based on Dr Aimee as a doctor. Let me start off by a saying how great Dr. Aimee Eyvazzadeh is. She is a caring doctor who genuinely loves what she does [helping patients conquer infertility issues & provides hope for those who simply don't have it anymore]. I'd love to continue on with a solid 5 star review and express how seamless my experience and treatment here was but that just wouldn't be MY TRUTH. There were always ups and downs from the very start of my experience regarding this office- see previous review- but my sister's amazing experience & the fact that she was blessed enough with beautiful twins kept my spirits high. Throughout the entire process there were plenty of issues primarily with the front staff. The issues revolved around a lack of communication- awaiting for someone to reach out but staff never did, billed appointments (PLURAL) that I was told there would be no charge of, and an appointment that was running "30 minutes late" but ended up being an hour late. [[Keep in mind that I live and work in San Jose and the trek out to San Ramon can be pretty grueling in itself]]. I was also scheduled in to have my blood drawn for a pregnancy test only to be told it was scheduled too early on the day I was already there. I was directed to have blood drawn anyhow so something else could be checked. This was a wasted trip and resulted in an unexpected second visit just to have the initial pregnancy test done. Our appointments were usually scheduled closer towards the end of the day to avoid interfering with my work as least as possible, this led to fast appointment with Dr. Aimee that felt a bit rushed at times. A medication was incorrectly listed on my calendar which sent me in immediate panic because I thought I had derailed my progress. All of this may sound like a complete dig to this office but it's not. Ultimately, my fiancé and I continued with the process because we had complete faith in Dr. Aimee and her skills. Everyone is entitled to bad days but i didn't feel right about not speaking on my truth, my genuine experiences here. My rating would definitely be a 3.5, rounding up to 4 because Dr. Aimee is truly amazing at what she does. With her help, I am able to experience all that pregnancy brings and am awaiting the arrival of our babygirl. **Best of luck to anyone who is dealing with the struggles of infertility. Dr. Aimee is amazing! We had just begun our fertility treatment after 6 months of unsuccessful attempts. I researched quite a bit and was delighted to find Dr.Aimee in the Bay Area. My fiancé and I scheduled a zoom appointment with her to find out what our steps would be in our fertility plan. I was anxious and nervous prior to the appointment. After 6 months of unsuccessful attempts at becoming pregnant, I had begun to believe that I would never have children and that there was something wrong with me. I wasn't feeling too great going into the appointment. Dr.Aimee changed all of that. In our initial appointment, she answered all of our questions and made my fiancé and I feel like anything was possible. She made us feel so comfortable and encouraged us in our journey. I regained my confidence in my fertility journey and was excited to begin the process. I was blessed to receive a positive pregnancy test a few weeks later after meeting with Dr.Aimee. Although we weren't treated by her, sometimes I wonder if she just talking to her and calming my nerves did the trick. She truly is the egg whisper! Update: Just an update After having our beautiful baby girl in 2019 with the help of Dr.Aimee, we decided to go back to Dr. Aimee in 2021 to try to have another baby. Just like last time Dr. Aimee was incredible every step of the way. I just don't know how she manages to be such an involved doctor while still responding to emails at every hour of the day almost immediately. And apart from being brilliant she is just so nice and caring, I could go on and on. She's great! I am happy to say we are pregnant again and expecting twins in the summer of 2022. I waited a long time to write this personal review. And I feel it's necessary to help other women. I was VERY excited to get an appointment with the famous Dr. Aimee. Especially after seeing her YouTube videos, podcasts, and instagram. The in office visit was $775. I didn't mind, sounded like she could help me. I had a complete work-up just 1-2 months before seeing her. I had every test you can imagine. I just wanted to consult with 3 local RE's before finalizing. The office is not the tidiest, but that's ok. I figured the doctor and nurses are what matter. She called me in and seemed frazzled. She was shuffling my health records and I knew she hadn't reviewed them properly. It was done just minutes before calling me in. I work in healthcare, I know. Other reviewers here have had this experience too. I was so detailed and wrote everything out. One of my charts was confusing as I had 2 cycles start in one month due to more days in that month. She thought I had made an error and asked me to correct it, with an irritable face and tone. She wanted to redo an hsg, when I just had one 5 weeks prior! So unnecessary. I absolutely refused to do this again. She redid so many labs without telling me, when they were just done less than 3 months prior. Of course my insurance was billed over $1,000 and it was denied. She did the blood draw herself and was turning around to speak to her nurse, and moved the needle. I got bruised like I've never been before. See pictures. I wouldn't want Dr. Aimee putting a needle anywhere else. The ultrasound was so quick and without telling me my afc, useless and unnecessary. I left feeling more confused then when I came in. It really felt like I met someone else, and not the doctor I see in the media. Absolutely brilliant marketing and on social media. But in office, I don't know what happened. It could have been an off day for her. It could have been she didn't want to take on my case. Regardless the reason, I put almost $2,000 into just a consult and received nothing useful in return. I'm sure she's great for some people, but didn't work out for me. There's so much more I want to write, but it's hard to put into words. This was the most expensive consult, almost double every other clinic, but the worst treatment. If I was the only one who experienced this, I probably wouldn't share this review. But I felt encouraged to post by seeing others go through something similar. I did not feel good during or after the appointment. I felt like I met someone completely different than all those videos I had watched. I did not feel like a strong woman who left with confidence. I really felt crappy, it was such a rushed appointment. I could never charge a patient this amount and provide this type of treatment. And the day I do, is the day I would leave healthcare. Me and my husband have been struggling for 2 years. Dr. Aimee was recommended by my acupuncturist. I reached out and provided all of my records and tried to have a full understanding of what tests were needed so we could be fully prepared for the consultation. 2 weeks before the consultation, I was frustrated that I was not informed about some missing tests and when I tried to communicate with Dr. Aimee and her team she informed me that she was rejecting me as a patient and would not help. Note: I waited two years to write this review as I was extremely hurt due to what happened between Dr. Eyvazzadeh and myself. I used to be Dr. Eyvazzadeh's biggest fan. I told everyone, I mean everyone about her and gave out her business card whenever I could to everyone I could. I considered her one of my closest friends and confided in her as a friend, many of our conversations were outside of the fertility world. I went to her egg freezing parties and shared her Facebook posts on every page I could. I had an amazing review about here on yelp. I put her up on a pedestal of trust that unfortunately tumbled down. After my amazing experience with having my twins with her and after having my daughter I decided to do a surrogacy based on Dr. Eyvazzadeh's recommendation. She recommended an agency (which ended up being a train wreck). Everything went so south and Dr. Eyvazzadeh was very protective of the agency. When I found out the agency goes to transfers and was very vocal in my desire for the agency not to be there, it was not respected. I had no choice, no autonomy over my own body. I felt like I was sold to the highest bidder. Later on in the pregnancy Dr. Eyvazzadeh asked me to remove a posting on a private surrogate transfer Facebook group talking about my experience with the agency. She never told me who reported the posting to her but it was worrisome to see that she was getting information from private groups. Fast forward, I think everything is okay between Dr. Eyvazzadeh and myself and eleven days after giving birth to my first surrogate baby Dr. Eyvazzadeh sends an E-mail to the IM and myself cancelling our next preplanned transfer with an excuse and says we need to wait 18 months due to autism risks (before you ask I am a vaginal delivery only) which she knows means the IM will use another carrier. I was supposed to do a sibling journey that we talked about for months, we had even figured out our transfer date. My relationship with my first set of parents is now basically nonexistent, mostly because of the cancellation of the sibling journey. Dr. Eyvazzadeh said she knew since November she would not be doing our planned transfer but choose to wait 11 days after birth before saying anything. I trusted her and regret that trust now. I really believed that she was my biggest cheerleader and was a true friend. It's been two years today since I received the E-mail from her (she did it in a group email using an old email address, not even my current email at the time). Before the E-mail we had talked frequently, the night before the email for over an hour on messenger about things completely unrelated to the surrogacy world. My only suggestion is, if you do use her, do not develop a relationship with her. I am an introvert and have very few friends and was extremely hurt by what happened. I not only lost a sibling journey after having no autonomy over my body for a year, I also felt burned and lost one of my only friends and my ability to trust anyone around me. read more

This review is long overdue!! After a failed IVF round at Reproductive Science Center and feeling pretty scared about my chances of getting pregnant I emailed Dr. Aimee. I emailed her on a Friday night at 6:30pm and got a response by 7:00pm!! Dr Aimee looked into our case, met with us and came up with a game plan on what would be our best chances of getting pregnant. Doctor Aimee is VERY responsive to emails , phones calls and questions. Her Office staff is amazing too. We completed our round of IVF November 2017 and would soon find out we were pregnant! I had a scare one Saturday morning when I started to bleed and emailed Dr Aimee that I was going to go to the ER. She replied immediately to meet her at her office where she met me on her day off.
