I always appreciate that she doesn't cut off too much--she's careful and thoughtful with every trim. Her highlights look incredibly natural, with a beautiful sun-kissed effect that blends perfectly with your hair. On top of that, her prices are very reasonable, which makes the whole experience even better. Cristina is also just the sweetest person. She makes you feel comfortable the moment you sit in her chair and always styles your hair exactly how you like it before you leave. I always walk out feeling happy with my hair. Highly recommend!

I have fine straightish hair, but a good amount of it, with very minimal waves. I showed him pix of me with the cut/style I used to have (similar to his client's) and that's what I wanted again: I specifically said "a long bob with minimal to zero layering." I also told him I needed to be able to pull it back into a ponytail. What I got was basically a long choppy shag, but he styled it well and it looked sorta cute. Not the long bob I'd requested, but I left the salon satisfied with the unexpected change. 30 minutes later, it had totally wilted/changed. No problem, I thought. I'll just do it up right tomorrow. The next day I realized what a bad chop I'd gotten. Chunky layers all over, some as short as 4", with no blending in. Complete disregard to my recession and jawline, making it hard to wear down and I'm barely able to get it into a ponytail, which sticks straight out in choppy chunks. I dread leaving the house. The best I can say about it is that it looks alright under a baseball cap with sunnies (incognito mode). Will take at least 6 months to grow out enough for anyone to even begin to fix it, and much longer to get a solid baseline for a bob. I don't like to give negative reviews, so I've waited 2 weeks to see if I could salvage it and if it would work out. It has not. I'd give him the chance to make things right, but I'm afraid it will get worse. It's a no-go for me. Oscar seemed like a nice guy so I'm sorry to post this bad review. Really, I am.
