While Megan and Rachel are wizards at design and listening to client's personal styles, it is important to note that their services go beyond simple aesthetics. They were incredibly involved with the physical design of the space, which included frequent communication with our construction company and subcontractors, ensuring that everything was accomplished according to the plan. This included but was not limited to: designing lighting plans; meticulously designing and measuring cabinetry, and then working with the cabinet maker and subs to ensure a correct fit; swooping in to fix address all the issues, from fixture placements to counter heights to wall lengths. Their attention to detail along the way was truly astounding and their knowledge of home workmanship is unmatched. There was never a problem they couldn't fix or an issue that they couldn't untangle. There were a variety of missteps, including the tile selection, but the most inconvenient was that for the countertop she recommended a style of quartz that, as it turned out, was sold only in large slabs. We needed a small piece. Most of what the store offered came only in large slabs. When time was of the essence because of the contractor's schedule, we ended up going to a remnant dealer and making a selection from what was on hand. Overall, Karen showed a lack of attention to detail and seemed to disregard the financial "allowances" set by our contractor. I'd have posted this review sooner, but did not know she was on Yelp.
