This practice was recommended to me by someone in the industry. Though they have an in-house lab…read moreand so getting bloodwork done with an immediate A1C result is great, the rest of the business is run down and generally horrible to deal with. Everything they do seem to be the old fashioned way, their check in area is littered with a ton of posted notices (most of which are warnings to patients), and still after being an established patient at each visit they are not prepared and ask me basic info that they've had in their records for at least a couple of years. The main feeling you get is apathy and that they are overworked and understaffed. They have zero proactive reach out and do not do anything to inform me of new treatments and developments.

Were chatting about the zero cancellation notifications. ---- A receptionist of an adjacent doctor's office told us that the office closing on Fridays and patients not being notified is a common occurrence. ---- I called the main office (Providence) but had to leave a VM (no one ever answers the phone.) --- They called back stating their office policy is to send "cancellation letters in the mail" (all patients witnessed that day never received notifications). --- Shocking that a doctor's office policy is to use snail mail to cancel appointments. (about as hands off as you can get related to customer service.) Suggestion: They need to update their office policies and/or hire enough staff to be able to preform the basic functions of: 1) answering the phone; 2) using email notifications when rescheduling appointments.

When you enter the building I hope you have the pleasure of meeting Tim. You will smile the rest of the day. Tim went above and beyond twice for myself and elderly Dad. He helped my father get into his chair and even wheeled him to the check in window. All of that out of the kindness of his heart. Thank you Tim!

They're really good about getting you seen as fast as possible. I was there on a Thursday for "fast care" - definitely had conjunctivitis and wanted an RSV test because my son was in the hospital with that and I was at his bedside. 2.5 hour wait - but they told you that when checking in. They let me wait in my car which I appreciated - no dealing with people who blast stuff from their phone without headphones. I had prescriptions in to my pharmacy and was on my way about 15 minutes post being seen. (No RSV for me. Hurray!!!) Next door to the fast care building, there is also a blood test lab and X Rays. Those are normal business hours but much more convenient than trekking into Boston from the South Shore. Have used those services for myself and my 6 year old daughter. Thank you for the kind and caring care MGB Pembroke!

Arrogant, unwilling to listen to his own peers. Nice to your face but he makes sure you don't…read morepractice nutritional prevention in your lifestyle. He wrote a horrible review of a book on NutraSweet ("Aspartame, is it safe?") in an NEJN review) where the author (HJ Roberts, MD) cautioned his patients against Aspartame and Arturo Rolla ridiculed him to no end without substantiation. He said "my reaction to this book is as negative as it is strong. There is no place for a publication such as this one" and "It only adds to public misinformation, confusion and mistrust". And again: "Freedom of the press relies as much on the honesty and responsibility of the writer as on the government that supports it" - basically calling Dr HJ Roberts a liar and a cheat. Dr. HJ Roberts didn't have to redo the scientific research in (t)his layman's book - the peer reviewed science was already done by many others. At that time Drs HJ Roberts and Russell Blaylock, Alan R.Gaby, Woodrow C Monte, Mercola (and countless others) objected to Rolla Arturo's conclusion that NutraSweet was safe. Before the book was written there was a laundry list of serious negative consequences. They could all see it in their clinics. It never was safe (1)and nobody knows just how many suffered and how many saw an early grave of the many (breast, liver, colon. rectal & bladder) cancers it caused. The WHO (2) recently confirmed that this top sweetener is definitely carcinogenic and those who consume(d) it have a 13% higher risk of cancer than those who don't - and that's on your conscience, too, Rolla Arturo from Harvard University in Boston. 1)Woodrow C Monte, : "METHANOL AND THE PUBLIC HEALTH": Journal of Applied Nutrition, Vol. 36, #1, 1984 2)WHO, April 12th., 2022 & May 15th., 2023 Executive Summary and Discussion, respectively
