I was able to get X-Rays in the same building and they helped me schedule an MRI. I was seen again right after my MRI and was told I didn't need surgery (thank goodness), and was given a clear instructions on how to take care of my injury and ensue a quick and full recovery. Dr. Salzler was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and empathic. The same can be said for both of his PAs that I worked with and his front office staff. He and the PA team answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend Tufts Medical Center Orthopedics and especially Dr. Salzler.

I also want to add that the portal system they use is really convoluted and confusing, messages I sent through the portal often were not responded to, and on the flip side I happened to have an outstanding balance on there that I was never notified about (no phone, email, or text reminders!) other than it just sitting there under a different tab which also felt kind of strange.

She is all about treating the whole woman. She is humble, modest, and extraordinary. Her staff obviously adores her, and she treats them very well as well. I have a vaginal hysterectomy, minimally invasive, and was feeling better within three days. I can't state strongly enough that if you have any need for such surgery, she is the one to go to. She's also super funny, warm, kind, and completely puts you at ease. I am a scientist so read her pathology report afterwards, which she kindly provided. She is thorough, careful, conservative, and methodical about her surgery and pathology afterwards. You could not ever do better that Dr. Gomez-Carrion, and I sing her praises wide and far. Thanks to her, I am pain, worry, and uterus free, YAY!
