My horse was there 3 days before we noticed that he was not eating the alfalfa pellets. Initially, the owner, Max had told us that his facility fed alfalfa pellets but we could feed alfalfa hay so long as we brought it in and fed it ourselves.  After the 3 days, we took our horse to a local rodeo and prior to leaving we noticed our horse had not eaten his pellets. At the rodeo, we confirmed that he would not eat the pellets at all. Our poor horse was starving and dropping weight. We switched him back to alfalfa hay. I called the owner and reported this to him. He stated that the horse had eaten the pellets, which was not true. Three of us saw the trough full of pellets when we picked him up. I told the owner that we would be switching him back to hay. He asked me if I was going to be feeding our horse daily because he would not do that. I responded with yes. He then stated for the very first time that he would not allow hay on his property, because it's messy and causes too many flies, which was contrary to what he told us before we signed the boarding agreement. He stated that his place was not the right one for us and that we needed to go elsewhere. He was insistent that we find a new place immediately. I told him we would move out and asked for a refund since I paid him in advance for the month. He stated he would pro rate the board and refund the balance. When it came time to the refund, the owner stated that he was going to continue billing me on a daily basis until he rented out our horse's stall. I reminded him that he asked us to move out. He refused to refund me the amount he withheld until he rented out the stall. I paid him $325 for the month , which the stall was only rented for 7 days (horse was only there for 3 days). He refunded me $152 and stated he was being generous. I reminded him that he canceled the contract and breached the agreement. When it comes to business, this man has no conscience or moral compass.

It's been about 3 years since my Girl Scout troop came to this ranch (see my previous review). Since then my kiddo and I have taken classes at the ranch and we both became volunteers at the ranch. We come to this ranch about as often as we can. The owners make it a point to make everyone feel like family! This IS our family now!!! Aside from the joys of the ranch, my kiddo has advanced riding skills so much that my kiddo has participated in the Black Rodeo, Competitive Horsemanship and Riding and trail rides. Like my kiddo, experienced students at the ranch can participate in parades, shows, and more as volunteers representing the ranch too! If you'd like the same opportunities, you just need to saddle up and start your horsemanship journey, or expand it, at the RR! And, For the person who wrote that they called and no one answered... keep in mind, this ranch runs off of its volunteers. There is a limited paid staff and a small army of volunteers who support RR. This ranch serves as a large animal rescue. This ranch is a place of escape for victims of a variety of situations and this ranch services folks with a variety of physical, emotional and mental needs---- on top of the herd of horses, goats, pigs and dogs that live there. They have two big arenas, two round pens, and seven turnouts. The stalls are cleaned every day. The horses are fed twice a day (supplements included) when they say they are. Horses are turned out once a week with the price of board or for only $25 more a month they are turned out three more times a week for the whole month. It's a quiet no drama place and I love it here.

Where oh where to start... I took my 5 1/2 year-old French bulldog to a groomer instead of the vet…read moreabout two months ago to have her glands done. This dog has been a puppy since she was born. High energy always. Well she came home from the groomer unable to jump, and over the next few days was in visible pain, shaking, couldn't barely walk, couldn't even get comfortable laying down. Crate rest, muscle relaxers, pain pills, and multiple sessions of acupuncture over 6 weeks and she was making improvement, but not like I wanted. So I got on yelp and started searching and found Autumn. I sat near Dutchess her whole first session, and was SO convinced just after that, that before autumn left my house, my other dog AND me were scheduled to join in on Dutchess' next session. Dutchess got up from her session and immediately ran into my other room and jumped on the couch. Literally IMMEDIATELY. This dogs MO is making me lose my shit with her high energy and I felt like we were immediately back to normal We've now had 2 sessions and I told Autumn yesterday that Dutch is about to send me into an early grave because she has been bouncing off the walls constantly since our second session. Keeping her calm is essentially out of the question at this point and just not gonna happen. My sweet rambunctious 5.5 year old puppy is back and I am SO grateful for Autumn. So now about me. Stage 4 endometriosis. Had a child via IVF and surrogacy. I've had 2 laparoscopic surgery's. First one to remove a softball size mass that engulfed my entire left ovary and tube, and attempt to clear out some of the endo. Second time to clear out some endo. Got about 5% relief on the second surgery. Essentially the surgery was a waste of my time. Well, like I said, I sat near Dutchess during her whole first session. And started my period the morning of Dutchess' second session. That period started 5 days later then when it "normally" does, which is actually usually 5 days EARLIER then what my period calendar always says. So I got an extra FIVE days In between periods AND I HAD ZERO CRAMPS! People I'm serious, NO CRAMPS. My cramps were so bad before that I signed up for a second surgery to try to help. A whole surgery. And got barelyyyyy any relief. All I did was sit NEAR my dog and had no cramps. Well that was the first day of my first period since being around the machine. I got my own session done that day, and when I tell you I'm EXCITED for my next period, I'm serious. Because I can't wait to see how it feels. Or how it doesn't feel. I even got a facial a few days ago and my face lady was like wow your face is bleeding a lot today and it never bleeds like this.... And I'm like oh is it?! Well the machine Autumn uses is said to increase blood flow... i guess that's 100% true. So if you ask me, run don't walk to see Autumn.

We called the business and booked same day which was a super smooth process. Our trail lead MATTHEW took amazing care of us -- extremely attentive, kind, and made the ride really enjoyable as we chatted and learned about the area we explored. We paused and he helped my group take awesome pictures. My observation was that the animals were very well loved and trained which is something I truly value when booking these types of activities. I was more so booking for the trail ride but the margarita and chips/salsa afterwards were a total hit! I 10/10 enjoyed this experience. I've known and worked with Emma in the rescue capacity for several years. She is kind, honest and…read moretrustworthy. Through years of rescue, there are be very few people that I would trust with any dog. Emma is one of them. She's highly trained, emotionally intelligent and allows the dog time to trust her and open up. Recently, Emma became a foster for the rescue I volunteer with. She welcomed not one, but TWO euth listed Dogo Argentinos into her to help decompress, train and build up. One of the foster dogs had major medical, which she of course stepped up to ensure she gets to medical appointments. Emma is just an all around honest, good person and great dog trainer and boarder! I would trust her with any of my personal and rescue dogs. She's fantastic!
