Yes, just moved into the area and needed a new medical team. Very friendly and they communicate well with me and my other doctors.

I was looking for a new primary care doctor and I found out this place is not for me. I saw two physicians on different days: Sharita Arrington, NP; Katherine Hemby, MD. They were both extremely rude and very distant by not answering simple questions. That was my first and last time seeing each and I will never be back again based on their first impressions. My health was not treated as a priority and I recommend no one give them a visit. read more

Today I brought my mother and Aunt for an appointment, my aunt's was 1st, it was scheduled for 10:45 am, we arrived at 10:30 am. After waiting for so long and seeing everyone else go to the back, I asked the receptionist how much longer it would be, I asked at 11:20 am. I was told her appointment was at 11am, I informed her that her appointment on the card we was given was for 10:45 am. One receptionist was kind, trying to check for me, the one sitting in the middle was extremely rude! Butting in saying "who's the sister, who's the sister? Because I confirmed yesterday with her! I pointed to my mother and said she is the sister, my mother and she said the appointment was confirmed for 10:45. She rudely said well bring the appointment card back I would like to see it! Even the tone in which she was speaking to me was extremely rude. My mother has bad back and bone issues, my aunt is deaf, almost completely blind and debilitating arthritis, neither needs to be sitting in a chair in a waiting room for an extended period of time. We waited for an hour! Especially during these times, this entire experience sitting in the waiting room so long before being taken to the back was ridiculous! And they both have another doctors appointment at 1pm. It is here in this same clinic, I certainly hope that appointment and reception area is better than this cardiology reception because this one was awful and had the rude receptionist! She could have at least apologized, instead she chose to talk to and treat me/us like she was scolding a child! read more

If you're looking for a place that is actually trying to help you and not just perform a job, I don't think this one is for you.. I'm reviewing this location based on my experience with the obgyn department, I do not know how the rest of the business is because I choose to go elsewhere. I go to Clark Holder Clinic strictly to receive birth control refills. The actual doctor seems nice, but his nurses are AWFUL! I have had to call on 3 different occasions over the past month, and every time I have received very poor service. I am on a 21 day prescription (I do not take the placebo pills, and haven't for 4 years), and my other doctor (the one that left this location earlier this year) was fine with that...as well as the doctor at this location Im seeing now. When explaining this to the nurse (so my prescription would actually get called in right) she didn't seem to understand ANY of it. It seems she was preoccupied the entire phonecall and barely listening, even though I explained if my pharmacy didnt receive a call soon, and correctly, I would end up having to take the placebo pills I am directed NOT to take. It is a Friday.. 1pm, her excuse she provided was "Okay, I will call it in.. but don't expect it to be today. It will be Wednesday when we are not seeing patients." ?? I just explained to you I needed it today, but at latest Monday!? How do you not understand that, and obviously Wednesdays are normal business days... Therefore I will most likely end up going into the placebo pills for the 2nd consecutive month due to their "not so intelligent" nurses. 4 weeks agoI was trying to set up an appointment a week ahead of time and they were supposedly too busy, and had originally told me they couldnt get me in until mid September...yet somehow managed me in a week later than I needed (the end of August) and the waiting room was practically empty when I was there.. When I went to the doctor that WAS here (that I was told left earlier this year, only when I called to make an appointment with him 8 months later *my appointments are once a year) he was GREAT! Wish I could find out where he went, because I am not planning on returning to this location in a year (or 8 months, because they called me in 12 refills like I was on a 30 day prescription, mine is a 21 day therefore 17 refills is 1 year..but they didnt understand that either). In conclusion, if you are looking for a place that listens to you, calls in your medicines correctly so you don't have to take the wrong thing, or can get ANYTHING done within 2 or so weeks of calling them- this place is NOT for you!
