I was really super that the tequeños were really tiny. I was expecting them to be larger, but they were delicious. The rice and beans,platanitos, tostones, all have such a flavor, and that special ingredient that only a mother has, love. I had the tostones, the wife had bistec empanizado and we took the croqueta sandwich home. Man o man, I dont think I've ever finished ameal without taking a to go container with me. The total came to about $20, which I thought was a bit expensive for what I ordered. The coffee was just okay, and while the cheese pastries tasted fresh, they weren't particularly memorable. The standout was definitely the mamey milkshake. It was rich, creamy, and full of flavor--easily the best thing I ordered. If I'm ever back in the area, I'd stop by again just for the milkshake. Overall, it's a decent place for a quick bite, but in my opinion, the mamey milkshake is the real reason to visit.
