First time here, small lowkey bakery! Came here around lunch hr with my girls and ordered myself a sandwich Cubano with side of plátano maduro! The fried plantains had a nice texture , not over done, just perfect! The sandwich had a nice crunch to it as well, it came with a very spicy green salsa which was really good!

Excellent - great hidden gem in a strip mall. Got the chicken sandwich which came dressed as a cubano (mustard, cheese, pickle) but minus the beef since I'm weird and don't eat that. They DO now allow dine-in on a handful of tables (despite the exterior signage implicating that they are take-out only) and food is brought to you in a (sigh) styrofoam container. It was served hot with a small side of sweet plantains (I got 3 large, yummy ones). I added more than a touch of mayo and procured some extra pickles and my sandwich was divine. Numerous drinks (Coke, Pepsi, bottled water and bottled and canned juices, but no diet soda) are available in two refrigerators. My lunch-time chicken sandwich with plantains and a water cost me exactly $7.00. WOW. I can't remember the last time I had a nice white-meat chicken breast sandwich with a side and a drink for that cheap -- not even at Chick-Fil-A! And this was certainly more memorable. Two staffmembers were helpful in describing menu items for me and ringing up my purchase. Their namesake bakery items looked great as well, but since I gorged on my sandwich, I wasn't about to add more carbs. Random note: This place was a dead-zone for my cell phone (Verizon) service, and no wifi is offered.

Was in the mood for Cuban food and found this gem of a Cuban bakery & restaurant blocks from my place. The smell of fresh baked bread warms your senses as soon as you walked in. And my typical Cuban sandwich was five star, the right amount of seasoning, crunchy Cuban bread, mustard, ham pickle etc, winner. Choices of sides of fries, tostones etc, fresh fried to order. The house made green spicy dipping sauce was a vinegary and hot and spicy flavor explosion. I will return for more food and baked goods. Yeah

Great Cuban food here. I had the pollo la Plancha. The chicken was tender and flavorful.

Bad customer service. The coffee was not what I asked for. The lady was very rude. Will not be going back there for anything.

Coffee sucked ! The cortadito and cafe con Lethe. It says Cuban but absolutely not it appears to be a South American bread and coffee spot.

The BLT on a croissant? Buttery, flaky croissant, thick smoky bacon, fat juicy tomato slices - typically I wouid never order a BLT on a croissant, but I went with Carol's (the manager) recommendation and it slapped! Hard. 11/10 My wife ordered the Dubai chocolate croissant and let's just say: it flexed harder than Schwarzenegger in his prime. Layers so airy they almost levitate. Smooth dark chocolate and pistachio. It's sweeeeet. If you like dubai chocolate style creations - this is otherworldly. I asked my wife what score she gives it. She didn't skip a beat. "Numbers are insufficient for that masterpiece." There ya have it! We swing by when we can for their sourdough loaf which are always 10/10. A huge shoutout to Carol, the manager. She's not just helpful - she's encyclopedic. Ask her what's in a pastry, what's not, what pairs best with coffee - she'll walk you through like your own pastry tour guide, always kind, always thorough. It's tiny, yes - you'll eat outside, in your car, or at home. But trust me, when the food hits this level, location doesn't matter. Sucre is a heavyweight champ hiding in a shoebox. Clutch move: they regularly discount the pastries around 2 or 3 until close to BOGO. Enjoy!

By the way, the strip center that the tea house is in is a really interesting strip center with a lot of unusual stores. If you'd like to shop and find unique things you might want to stop by. Back to my review. The tea party bakery is a cute little store with a few inside tables and a couple of outside tables. It offers tea (obviously) coffee, cappuccinos and lattes, along with an assortment of cakes and cookies and a few breakfast items. I ordered my usual black tea latte, and the girl behind the counter provided me with a couple of different options for English breakfast tea. Both seemed interesting and the one I selected was great. She also did not hesitate when I asked for a "latte" and honey. Initially, I wanted a croissant. However, they were out of croissants, (except for a strawberry and egg croissant). Missing my chance to find a good croissant in South Florida, I chose an orange chocolate chip cookie. The cookie was excellent, the tea was spot on, and the service was exactly what you'd expected at a tiny tea house... personal and friendly. The bottom line has always with my reviews is my "customer so what". Would I come back again? The answer is... yes. It's not often you'll find a traditional tearoom in South Florida. If you like a traditional tea house with their cute little china cups, assortment of pastries and cookies, traditional "tearoom" ambience and personalized service, this place is one you will enjoy.

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the guys behind the counter with their thick New York accents--it instantly sets the tone. The selection is incredible, with everything from large balls of freshly made mozzarella to eggplant, rice balls, and so many other classic Italian favorites. They do offer subs, but one of the best parts is being able to build your own at home--they'll happily slice up a pound of whatever cold cuts you choose. I was also pleasantly surprised to find imported olive oil straight from Sicily for $25, which I couldn't pass up. Fair warning: it's very easy to get carried away here. Just standing there, taking in all the options, you'll likely walk out with way more than you planned--but it's completely worth it. I ended up making my own sandwich using homemade sourdough from a local shop down the street, and the combination was perfect. Supporting locally owned businesses like this makes the experience even better. You get quality, authenticity, and real ingredients--something you just don't find with big chain stores. Shop local--you won't regret it.
