The food was good and we were seated immediately. That's why there's one star and that's where the niceties end.
We sat there for a little while waiting for someone to take our drink orders. Eventually somebody had asked us and since it took so long we decided to order dinner at the same time. A few minutes later, the same guy came back with a starter. Then we were sitting in a vortex that nobody could see through.
We were ignored for at least 20 minutes.
We finally asked someone about our drinks, they left and the manager came back to retake our drink order. He brought them back about 5 minutes later, and one of them was wrong. We also never got our water that we had requested besides our main drinks.
Although we didn't have to ask for our dinner again, the couple next to us did. One of our party did have to request a beer a second time that he had requested come with dinner. He never got a second beer.
After we finished eating, they eventually came by to clear our table. We asked them to pack up our food to take home. They mixed the four dishes into two containers - one of the dishes was very spicy and thus rendering the other dish too spicy for some of our party to eat later.
After sitting there for an extended amount of time waiting for our bill, we asked for our bill a second time and it didn't come. We told a waitress that was cleaning the table next to us that if we didn't get the bill in five minutes, we were leaving. It still didn't arrive.
We ended up paying at the counter on the way out.
Overall, this is the most disorganized restaurant I've ever been to. I still don't know who our waiter was, if we had one. I believe it was actually a bus boy who originally took our order. I'm impressed we even got our food.
The couple next to us sat down not too long after we had originally sat down. While there, it got to the point where she was forced to get up out of her chair to talk to a waiter in the middle of the restaurant to ask him for their missing drinks. They also changed seats so that he could face out toward the waiters, thinking that maybe, being a man, they would be more likely to respond to him. When we left, they were still waiting to receive their dinner.
While we were leaving, we warned a group coming in about the most horrific service we've ever received. They decided to get dinner elsewhere. I hope you do too. read more
