Then received the premium notice, dated last week, for the full $1,000+ premium. What?! No dividend at all? Just called Guardian and eventually learned that there was a dividend earned on my policy and that the dividend was less than $99 short of my annual premium. If I did not call, then I would have paid 10X more than I should! OOPSY. Wonder what Guardian will do with all the extra cash that they get from people who didn't / don't bother to follow-up?
