The gentleman (apparently running the place) answered the phone on Friday shortly before closing time, quoted a price, and on Monday I showed up, he had the part ready, and I was out of there half an hour later. Because I really like knowing my equipment, and had worked on it before, I offered I'd finish putting it back together at home, because I wanted to. SO VERY RUDE! The person who answers the phone is so unprofessional and rude, it's unbelievable!! Do not ask technical questions because you will get nothing but a major attitude & yelling, and screaming coming from the other end of the phone. I honestly feel this man is on something. So unprofessional, you don't treat your customers like that!! I give this place a BIG FAT ZERO. Unfortunately, that isn't an option on here, so I gave it 1 star. I would not recommend this place! This place looks like a lawnmower graveyard, so disorganized. This business is the worst I have ever experienced. He speaks to you like you owe him something! It's a bummer this is the only local business that does Ryobi warranties. We brought in our Ryobi lawn mower as it had stopped working but was still under warranty. Upon arrival one will notice the extensive amount of machines all around a very unkempt yard. When we brought in our lawn mower it was in excellent condition as we keep it in our shed. After not hearing anything after 2 months, my husband went by to check status and was told that they were still waiting on a part from the manufacturer. We left on vacation and returned after 6 weeks and check back as we still had not heard anything. Although we had our claim check, what I suspect is the owner bumbled around trying to find our machine. We actually located it before him and it had been left out in the elements visibly covered in dust, dirt and faded from being exposed to the sun. The person said that the machine had been done for a while however we had never received a phone call and he obviously forgot that my husband had been there just weeks before and been told that it wasn't done. We picked up our machine and had to completely clean it when we got it home. Very disappointed at the lack of professionalism and communication. I only hope the workmanship is better and we will see as we begin to use our lawn mower again. read more

This location has been open for years. I'm not sure why people have reported it closed, when that couldn't be further from the truth. I have taken lawn mowers, high wheel trimmers and most recently my lawn tractor here for service and repairs. Rick is good with small engines, and generally gets your equipment back to you quicker than most other shops. Additionally the work has always been done right the first time, I've never had to take anything back because something wasn't repaired correctly. I've brought a couple of things for repairs to Empire Saw and have nothing but praise for Rick. The guy really knows his stuff. On one occasion I brought a unique generator to him that he never saw before; it is a hybrid unit that runs off either gasoline or propane.
