After doing a complete indoor renovation in 2025, we finally decided to tackle the outdoors of our house in 2026. I called and contacted numerous companies in our area over the last few months. Some of them never even showed up to look at our house and quote us a price. It got pretty frustrating. But after reading some of the reviews for New Life Landscape Services, we decided to touch base with them. Danny showed up on time for the initial meeting and listened to our needs and wants. He made some outstanding suggestions for our shrubbery beds, and we decided to move forward and schedule the project. I'm really glad that we trusted Danny. He and his staff showed up on time, and they were already working on the yard when I rolled out of bed. The plants that he selected were beautiful. He even gave us a credit when there were a few shrubs left over. The entire project was completed in just half a day. He even created a nice flower bed next to the front door with some perennials. My wife and I were so thrilled and satisfied that we (a) also decided to use New Life for our weekly lawn maintenance... and (b) we will be contacting them later in the year for our back yard project. Elmar was the first to come out, that same day as I posted my request, he seemed very knowledgeable and fair so I agreed to go with him. He and his crew was able to do the job today, just four days after my request. I could not be happier with the job they did. Every branch on the mahogany and oak trees were roped off, cut and lowered to the ground. This procedure is time consuming but very important to me as I have a fully landscaped backyard and didn't want any of it damaged. After everything was trimmed, it was all cleaned up by the crew and put in the tree shredder. All loose debris was picked up or blown clean. I highly recommend Elmar and his crew!!

Nightmare experience with this company. They are not knowledgeable about plants at all and…read morerecommended me a ton of invasive plants that I had no clue of until 4-8 months later I was able to realize the catastrophic damage they have caused. I trusted them and asked for their recommendation and support to plant low maintenance succulents that won't involve much effort. The list of what they did wrong has mounted as time as passed. Majority of the plants that they installed are off shooting and budding in all different areas around the yard. Popping up everywhere lifting the black netting under the rocks. They have a root system that is invasive and they planted plants so close together without realizing how they will overgrow each other. They planted plants who offshoot inches to multiple feet away from where the plant is and start growing in another location halfway across my yard. They planted plants that grow way too large for the space they gave them and they planted plants so close together that once they grew, they quadrupled in size at this point, and now they are on top of each other. They planted plants that offshoot off each other and multiply at the route, causing them to look horrendous and grow out of proportion and springing up all over the yard. They caused such damage with their negligence it's insane! It is going to cost me a fortune to remedy this and I have to do it now before it gets out of control and my whole yard has to be dug out. They also did not properly treat the ground and they did not properly lay the right underlayment properly and missed many areas. They also did not properly pull out and remove former plants at the root so now old plants are growing underneath the new plants. I reached out and sent them half a dozen videos of what happened showing them the incompetence of the recommendations that were made and articles showing that these plants are not recommended at all in the settings they did for me and the damage they already have caused. They are the specialist, you don't go to a doctor and tell the doctor what to do, you trust that that is their job and they know their plants and make recommendations based on your needs and the HOA being manicured. They charged me a bloody fortune thousands and thousands of dollars that now I have an invasive mess in my yard that is going to cost even more to remedy and remove the root systems of these invasive plans they should never have planted. These plants are even growing under my slab and literally many feet away from their original plant. I know that they did not properly treat the ground for weeds because when I had asked them if they could help with resodding my backyard and help address the weeds as part of the job they gave me a different protocol for that which I realized they didn't do it all to the front yard. My yard looks like an out of control jungle. It took me four hours this past weekend to remove a lot of the offshoots. I hurt my back and could not move for days. I even have text messages where I specifically shared what I needed for these plants to encompass, and what they recommended grew to not be that. I gave them the opportunity to fix this and they did not respond back to me. I would caution you to take their advice, they are not real landscaping professionals that actually know their plants and care about their customers outcome after they get their money.
