Would not hire again. Mike is a nice guy but he struggles to manage the project. Big talk up front…read morebut doesn't deliver. (Started 3 days late. Quoted 4 days, took 6) He also avoids fulfilling the agreement to his advantage. I was clear I wanted 2 coats(top coat) in the garage and he said he needed to do 2 coats of mud. He did 1 coat each. Refused to do 2 as we discussed. Lastly, he didn't fulfill the contract. It stated he would provide supplies. He wouldn't buy paint to touch up trim his guys got wall paint on. I had too. The contract stated "clean up." Left trash and debris upstairs and downstairs inside. The garage was straight trashed. Dried drywall mud all over the floor, debris, trash, and other crap left in my yard. He used my leaf blower and brooms to blow crap all over my driveway. Zero clean up completed. Aside from one guy missing a few walls, his crew did decent work. I am 90% satisfied with the work completed. Dan did exceptional work. The garage does need a second coat all new colors do) but I'll just do it myself. Mike makes things difficult and uncomfortable. The customer is not his priority. He writes the contracts vague. Be specific and do not pay until it's satisfied. Lesson learned.

There are so many places that he missed. I have given him amply time to fix his mistakes. He has told us several times and dates that he would be over, so we canceled plans would rearrange our schedules, and he canceled every time. Needless to say, a month later and he still has not come back. He also made a mess on the floors, hand rails, and light switch covers. He tried to do a "bait and switch" with the paint he told us he would use. Talked a big story of using Sherwin Williams Emerald paint. I happen to take a look around and check, Mike was using the cheapest paint. I had to call him out on it, and he tried to fast talk me. (Little did he know, I have done my fair share of painting-and knew my products). Stay away and hire a real professional painter! (BTW, I would give zero stars if it would let me)
