I found Ewa on instagram a few months ago and have gone to her a few times now, definitely won't ever go anywhere else! I am so grateful to have found Ewa and Emvee Salon! I'm always very hesitant to try new hair stylists after a few bad experiences... but this was definitely not one of them! I'm newer to the area and needed desperately to get my hair done. Impossible to get an appt!! I've tried contacting them for 2 years using everything but smoke signals and not one text or call or email or fuck off or anything. Obviously they don't need my $275 every 6 weeks for the number of years I go there plus all the products I buy. They could have replied with not taking any new clients but they are not a PROFESSIONAL COMPANY with morals, ethics, values, etc. and customer service excellence is foreign to them. It's 2 girls who went to beauty school and now rent space in Woodridge with 20 other chair renters. I called Lola by Gina in Geneva and Gina is booked until March 2020 BUT they still called me back and they have texted me several times this past month to let me know when they have cancellations with their other colorist. That is how you treat a client. Remember..with no clients, then no money and then your little rental space goes under for non payment of rent. Clients are what allows you to live comfortably im sure so don't just ignore someone for over 2 years because That will turn into a reoccurring habit and then you have a few clients left. I've known her for years and watched her grow into a talented professional who really cares for clients and loves her job. First of all, I would like to start off by talking about the woman behind this amazing salon- Ewa herself. I have known Ewa for a few years now and I am happy to say that not only is she my go to girl for hair, but she is a true friend. She is truly the sweetest, most genuine, and hard working woman and mama! Now lets get to the hair. She is AMAZING!!!! Amazing is actually an understatement. She knows what she is doing and has worked very hard to get to where she is and you can definitely tell. Her hair color is perfection, her cuts are very precise and she is great at styling as well. Her overall talent & high quality does not go unnoticed. I have been going to her for awhile and have now referred all of my sisters and mom to her because that is how amazing she is. My family and myself are very picky about our hair and are always a little weary of going to new people...but Ewa is one of a kind and will have us as lifelong clients. I have gone to other people out of convenience due to where I live (downtown Chicago), but nobody compares and I always end up going back to her and having her fix my color that someone else was unable to achieve, and let's just say..the places I have gone to in the city were high end salons and pricey- what does that tell you!?
