It seemed very overwhelming the amount of damage that was left in its wake, but Schaun walked us through every step of the way. From dealing with the insurance company to mitigation and finally rebuilding the ceiling, floors, walls and everything else that needed to be replaced, Schaun and his team were on top of it every step of the way. The whole damage (which trust me was a lot) took eight or nine weeks total to rehab and most of that time was spent waiting for the insurance company to approve the claim. Even before the claim went through, Allied was at our house with air scrubbers, giant fans, and dehumidifiers to prevent any mold buildup that may have taken place since the leak. They were also on top of the insurance company to get our claim approved, and once it finally was, his crew was here the next day to get started on the work and continued to be here each day until the job was done. Schaun was very professional and courteous and his crew did a great job getting our house back in order. I would recommend them to others and use Allied Property Services again if anything like this ever happened again.

We scheduled an appointment over the phone for the Twin Cities Finest team to come out after all of our painting was done - we had an at-home carpet cleaner but it just wasn't doing the trick. And for the sweet deal promo, we were sold! I loved that they send reminder emails and texts so you don't miss the appointment. Our technician that came out was honest, trustworthy, and clear. He gave us a quote for the whole space (we had a few more rooms we wanted done beyond the promo deal) and the price was still great. The carpet looked so incredible after he finished (less than an hour!). He also gave us a quote on our air ducts and an honest look at their current condition. We really appreciated him not trying to oversell us, and telling us how the vent cleaning works. He also gave valuable insight into tile cleaning. Tech had a very heavy set of equipment which they needed to maneuver 1 step at a time both down and up the basement steps. We had already cleared the entire area about 6 ft away from the furnace. Laundry sink was not in the way whatsoever but after the tech left, we saw the corner of laundry sink about 6-8 inches each side of the corner had been crushed. This is a fiberglass sink and there's really no way we ourselves could have crushed it. It took some type of very heavy equipment---like the pieces this tech was maneuvering into and out of our basement. We are extremely disappointed this tech would not own up to what they did, and the company flat out refuses to offer any adjustment.

I prepared the floor exactly as Chuck at J.O.Thompson suggested. Chuck inspected the floor before scheduling the installation, telling me the floor preparation was very good. I specifically asked Chuck about the samples which he provided, which were not flat, and if this would affect how they stayed stuck to the floor. Chuck assured me his installer would stick them firmly to the floor without a problem.

The Women's Drum Center was doing a major facelift to create a percussion appreciation center. The…read moreold carpet was from a big box store and had duct tape along the seams of the three sections. J.O. Thompson was recommended to me and I could not be happier. I met Chuck at the store to discuss my issues and we scheduled a visit to the Women's Drum Center where they made recommendations for a transition edge to allow us to move loading carts over the edges and not create a tripping hazard. They also recommended heat sealing the 3 sections so it appears as one large piece! JOT came in the day before to remove the old carpeting allowing us to mop the floor. They ran the new carpeting all the way to the wall providing a much cleaner look and cutting around a large column. The quality of the new carpet is so nice on bare feet. The work team was efficient, respectful and did a great job cleaning up after the installation.

They asked that we update our review, and we told them we would do so once we actually received the refund. The refund showed up today, so here we are updating the review as promised. That said, the company continued to be somewhat pushy after our original review, repeatedly asking us to change it. We understand that a negative review isn't helpful for their brand, but our original review was simply an honest summary of our experience. Ultimately, I personally would not recommend this company. After three attempts to schedule and complete the work, they contacted us at the exact time of the third rescheduled appointment to let us know they would not be coming. At that point, we went with another company that completed the job within 24 hours of us reaching out, and for a similar price. We're not going to say you should completely avoid this company, but we would recommend being cautious and having a backup plan in case things don't go as expected. We ask that the company stop contacting us regarding our review or expressing their dissatisfaction with it. Our review reflects our genuine experience, and we stand by what we shared. All we can say is to do better for the next customer. We do appreciate the response and the refund, but at the end of the day, the service we originally requested was never completed. Unfortunately, once we signed up, the communication became very lackluster. We had to reschedule multiple times because they either canceled on us or were a no-show. Each time, there seemed to be another excuse. After several failed attempts to get the service completed, we informed them that we were going with another company. Despite this, they still have not refunded our deposit. At this point, we are considering taking legal action to recover the money we are owed.
